I had seen problems like this with 7.6 when using the Custom Scan plugin (cf. 'thread' (http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?p=678632). After I did a full reinstall without the problem things work fine. I haven't re-tried to install the plugin on 7.7 as things are currently working. --
