From the web interface you can do this either from the LastFM page itself, or
from the thumbs up/down icons in the 'now playing' section of the default
interface.
From the remote, navigate to the LastFM menu from which the commands are
available.

AlienBBC has suddenly stopped working. I get the menus but it won't
play. I can't think of any changes I have made that could affect this.

That was not a stock error message. Please note there *are*
incompatibilities so don't expect everything in AlienBBC to work
perfectly in 7.1.
Known incompatibilities:
- ffw/rew is broken
- warning message about preference settings.
Some more issues may turn up as 7.1. is developed.

The instructions for the wikiradio really didn't make sense to me. I'm
running win xp with sc 7.01 and I've had alien 2.0 installed and
working good for a while. I just noticed the Wikiradio and clicked on
it and all I get is a 404 page not found error. I can't seem to see

The Wikiradio page is there with attachment but the AlienBBC addon needs
to be updated and not just the URL in wikiradio.opml.

Has something changed with SC 7.01? I upgraded and now all I see is the
Weather Channel logo on my SB3 and loads of blank temperature
information on teh controller.

It's a fairly old version of mplayer.
Typing mplayer into Terminal returns the version
MPlayer dev-SVN-r21482-4.0.1 (C) 2000-2006 MPlayer Team
But it was certainly working until a few days ago. If it continues not
to work I can move to a newer mplayer in case the BBC has changed
something.

Dr Lovegrove, I just noticed that some foreign language characters and
accents are not displaying correctly in 6.5. I don't remember if this
was also the case with previous versions.

And a bit more information.
mplayer does play the programs (either as a .ra file beginning rtsp://
or as .rpm playlist, starting http:// with a -playlist parameter) when
run from the Terminal command-line.
So I guess something must be wrong on my system and network.
I tried logging out and in
I should have tried a restart before I made a post.
Restarting cured the problem.
But it would still be interesting to know what was going wrong.
There weren't any orphan mplayer processes, by the way.

You mean SBC? Really depends on what you want to do.
Loading menus and pages is faster, scrolling though lists, too,
although you have more direct access through the alphabet bar
