NPR has changed the website and the plugin needs to be updated to make it work properly again. Since the plugin was developed, other internet streams and sirtes have become available. Since there has been no complaints (i.e. no users) after NPR changed their website, I didn't put any effort in updating the plugin. I'm trying to create a recipe with 90's music only. So if I enter '90's' in description, I get 90's music, but it seems limited to rock music. I also want it to play some 90's house and anything else from the 90's. Also changing 'artist start and end year' doesn't deliver the desired end result. If I put some 90's artist in the artist field, I will also get music from other periods than the 90's. Can there be an additional slider, to limit the song release date to a certain period? Me too! I've reported this a number of times in this thread (and the thread on buffer underruns - which I suspect is causing the problem) but had no response. Is there any plans/possibilities to let the plugin work together with the new Your Music feature in Spotify? I think it is a really nice way to have a kind of collection of music in Spotify. Right now I just have a playlist for every album I like, which works well with this plugin. It gets a little disorganized though. Adding the music you like to Your Music seems like a better choice because it lets you sort the music by album/artist/song. Composer and Conductor should be standard tags and supported by LMS out
of the box.
Do you see Soloists in the standard LMS browse menus ? If you do, it
means that you are using a standard tag for that and then you shouldn't
need Custom Scan.

You mention a Soloists tag. I've not come across this one before. Is there a definitive list of tags that LMS supports as 'standard'? LMS 7.8 on VortexBox Midi running Xubuntu 14.04, FLACs 16-24 bit, 44.1-192kbps. Wired Touch + EDO, coax to Musical Fidelity M1 CLiC. Wireless Xubuntu 14.04 laptop controls LMS via Chromium. Erland Thanks - Soloist does not show up Soloist in a way is just my attempt to find people who are not the Album Artist, but the Track Artist only This is great for finding people who have a track on a Various Artists compilation For example, I have no Albums by Fats Domino, yet I have some tracks by him that show up on a few different albums and it would be nice to play all music (my own compilation album if you like!) that I have by Fats Domino from whichever album it was originally recorded In Addition, I want to keep the Composer, Conductor, Band/Orchestra tags out of the Artists listing - a setting in My Music in the LMS web interface This avoids the clutter of Composers (who are often neither the Artist nor the Track Artist) muddled up with the people playing the music In this way, I do not have to go to the effort of tagging my music with Custom tags - I can just use what is already there from ripping my CD's with dbPowerAmp :) So what I need to do is to search separately for Album Artist from Track Artist - is this possible? is there any way this will go away at some point? I see that spotify on sonos supports 3 simultaneous sessions. I'm guessing because this plugin is not endorsed by spotify they probably have little interest in lifting the limitation, but I figured I'd at least ask about the status and if there is any possibility of this limitation being eliminated. I am really enjoying this plugin with my LMS setup. I've bought Squeeze Control and it works well, except that the album artwork doesn't show up on my phone. I've got a galaxy S4 and I'm running LMS 7.7.3. Some of the artwork shows up, but not all of it. The same things happens on an iTouch running iPeng Classic, although each device shows slightly different artwork. I also use JRiver Gizmo and all of the artwork shows up in the GUI. I'm sure there is something I'm missing, but I can't figure it out. Any help would be appreciated. Sounds like you should be using the standard ARTIST or maybe even
TRACKARTIST tag when tagging your music files ?

Try to create a menu in Custom Browse with one of the following menu
types and see if they do what you like:
- Artists or Filtered Artists and make sure to only check Album
Artists in the Roles to include parameter
- Main Artists
The LMS scanning logic is a bit complex so it's hard to say if it works
correctly or not in a specific library, you really need to try it in
your own library to see if it works correctly with the way you have
tagged your music file during ripping process.
