so, there was a change in 1.55 regarding to perl ssl? It tries to catch the cases where SSL is not supported. In those case it would automatically fall back to the old pre-1.5.x behaviour, potentially adding invalid tracks. We need SSL to be able to validate tracks with the Spotify API. --
