Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: CastBridge = integrate Chromecast players with LMS (squeeze2cast)
I think this is due to the fact that LMS does not have time to download the plugin before you restart it (it is s known issue). You should clean the DonloadedPlugins directory, then when you apply the install, wait for a few minutes or look in DownloadedPlugins directory till the size of files there become stable, then restart LMS LMS 7.7.5 - 5xRadio, 3xBoom, 4xDuet, 1xTouch, 1 SB2. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: CastBridge = integrate Chromecast players with LMS (squeeze2cast)
I set up a new system with ClearOS 7.2 which has kernel 3.10.0-327.10.1.v7.x86_64. I click on the enable box for the plugin and hit apply and then it shows up under the heading "Updated Plugins Available" with the enable checkbox unchecked. If I check it again and then apply then it disappears from the entire plugin list. If I refresh the page then it shows up again under Updated Plugins Available with the checkbox unchecked. The settings link never appears. I looked in the plugin directory /var/lib/squeezeboxserver/cache/InstalledPlugins/Castbridge etc and there is nothing there. I looked in other plugin directories and did not see it installed either. I tried installing your UPNP/DLNA plugin and got the same result. Other 3rd party plugins seem to install ok. I am using LMS 7.9.0-0.1.146`319207 I did the steps below to get it working on this system. $ ln -s /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/Slim /usr/share/perl5/vendor_perl $ cpanm CGI::Cookie $ systemctl start squeezeboxserver.service I do not see any errors in the squeezebox server log, but maybe there are log settings that I should set to show more. Any suggestions? philippe_44 wrote: > Probably a 3.x - on that topic, recompilation is easy and if you are a > bit used to that and really want this plugin, I can help you to try to > build it for centos jw111's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=11985 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=104614 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

A question about the iPlayer/File Type aac transcode via faad/flac. I came across this in my attempts to get eg. working. I notice that when the stream runs both faad and flac are running - when the stream stops, they continue running. Is this expected behaviour? Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: UPnPBridge = integrate UPnP/DLNA players with LMS (squeeze2upnp)
It's already amazing to use any device as squeezebox but quickly I thought of a test : "And if I combine LMS-to-UPnP and shairtunes2 ?" Believe it or not it works ! LMS-to-UPnP transforms each DLNA device into a squeezebox player and shairtunes2 transforms each squeezebox player into airplay player. All that with about one second of delay only ! You have created a way to transform any DLNA device into airplay receiver ! Just for that it is interesting to have squeezebox server in his house ! If offers the possibility to make incredible things. For example I can stream my iphone to xbox via airplay  A little laggy with the xbox 360 but fully usable :p 20373 May be it is possible to transforms a chromecast into airplay device too but I don't have the hardware to do that :p Thanks for that great experience. +---+ |Filename: airplay upnp.jpg | |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=20373| +---+ schmurtz's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=57368 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=103728 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
