Hi all,
I'm looking for a plugin that can play announcements etc. without
modifying existing playlists etc.
The idea is to playback/overlay the doorbell on my squeezebox devices
and afterwards return to the state they were before.
Do you know of such a plugin? Is it basically possible to

No, from a non-documented part... It's based on reverse-engineering -
which is always prone to failure in case of protocol changes.

The IckStream app hasnt been updated in 2 years and the navigation
there versus the Deezer app is really wonky... not to mention none of

Which official library? There are libraries for commercial customers,
but you don't get them without a company with a lawyer :-).
