I believe this term is used for allowing the bridge to transcode before
transmission. Select a
Ok, found it, Thank you PasTim
(see attached Screenshot)
The Chromecast Audio (Sonoro) is found and I can configure it through
the Plugin Control Panel. I can also see and select it in SqueezeCtrl
(Android).
Now I'm hitting the next snag. When I chose a track to play in
SqueezeCtrl, the Play
When I chose a track to play in SqueezeCtrl, the Play arrow very shortly
changes to the pause symbol and then reverts back to the play arrow. It
is not possible to play anything. Other renderers (Squeezebox Touch,
piCorePlayer) play without issues.
This is the log, when I start CastBridge and

Nor me. Try each codec in turn.
LMS 7.9.1 on VortexBox Midi box, Xubuntu 17.10, FLACs 16->24 bit,
44.1->192kbps. Touch & EDO. 2nd Touch
I have selected pcm to be sent to the Chromecast Audio (see screenshot
three posts up). I have no idea why it would want to use flac.

Can you give an example of one NZ station that this has happened to?

The log message is a bit misleading - what happens is that the
re-encoded track format is rejected but the source format is logged.
There
Philippe does this updated log help?
Thanks

Do you see another chance to solve the problem? If not, I would need
another step-by-step guide to install the previous version of UPnPbridge
0.3.0.0.2.
Thank you very much.

OK, I got it to play. Chosing FLAC as format did the trick. I can now
use SqueezeCtrl as Control Point and get the Chromecast Audio to stream
from NAS / LMS.
Unfortunately I am getting short stutters about once a minute and 0.5
second gaps between tracks (flow being checked in the control
I just made a new setup with a Raspberry Pi 1 model B, running DietPi

Spotty-hf 0.12.0).
Sound is connected over HDMI from the RPI to my Onkyo TX-SR606
receiver.
Just playing a whole playlist/album goes fine (Excellent work

Already set to none.
Doesn't work with flac, MP3 files.
It worked oddly with radio paradise stream which is MP3 CBR, but not

Anything I can do about this behavior (except using analog out on the
Pi)?
Maybe get a faster Pi as the LMS machine... Pi1 seems really the bare
minimum to work with Spotty. But I must be running really low on memory.
