Long shot, but does anyone know a programmatic way to change the skin easily? I have integrated this as a panel in my home automation setup and would love it to be able to automatically switch between light/dark modes along with the rest of the dashboard. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] LMS-lite certified Smart Home skill for Alexa
Rather than waste the voice commands for *Rewind* and *FastForward* that come 'for free' with the Smart Home voice model, I've now hijacked them so that they map to -60sec and +60sec within the current song. Beyond the beginning restarts at 0sec, as does beyond the end. New version = new path = > new taskbar settings required. Whoever had that great idea. :) The Store installer terminates SLX gracefully, so SLX will terminate the squeezelite player instances. Also, SLX always looks for instances of its squeezelite players on startup and terminates them (just in case SLX was terminated and they were left running). So I'm assuming you are running with the keyboard attached. Hovering the the mouse over the tray icon and it disappearing indicates that SLX has already crashed by then. I'm wondering if the portaudio library implementation I had may be the culprit. It is getting called in a thread during startup, and I may have had an issue with that implementation that could cause a crash, perhaps when it takes a long time to execute. I have changed this implementation in 2.6.34 and it will make that call in the main thread. So maybe 2.6.34 will solve this issue when you get it. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotty 4.0 - integrate local library with your Spotify collection (LMS 8+)
First off...thanks to the community, especially Michael for continuing to support these amazing audio streaming devices. I recently moved up to LMS 8 on a QNAP NAS (using the QLogitech package, which automatically installs Spotty v4.3), and I am experiencing constant re-buffering, like every 30 seconds. It is making it completely unusable. I have the same behaviour on my wired Touch and my wireless Radio, so the issue is not with the wifi. My NAS will stream my local library with no problems, so I don't think it is an issue with the power of my NAS. I have read what I think is every post in this thread with hopes to find some troubleshooting tips but to no avail. Here is my info: Nothing shown in the LMS Server log: [20-08-17 13:22:38.4304] main::init (388) Starting Logitech Media Server (v8.0.0, 1597639997, Mon Aug 17 07:24:41 CEST 2020) perl 5.020003 - arm-linux-gnueabi-thread-multi-64int Logitech Media Server Version: 8.0.0 - 1597639997 @ Mon Aug 17 07:24:41 CEST 2020 Hostname: Annapolis Server IP Address: 192.168.0.10 Server HTTP Port Number: 9001 Operating system: QLMS 2.X (QNAP TurboStation) [Debian 9 stretch] - EN - utf8 Platform Architecture: armv5tel-linux Perl Version: 5.20.3 - arm-linux-gnueabi-thread-multi-64int Audio::Scan: 0.95 IO::Socket::SSL: 2.060 Database Version: DBD::SQLite 1.34_01 (sqlite 3.7.7.1) Total Players Recognized: 2 My use case is pretty basic...I really just want to stream Spotify content on my players, I really like the Don't Stop the Music plugin. Ok, V3.1 with rapid-fire is now live :D Please let me know what you think of it. It takes a little getting used to and it's natural to hum and haw when put on the spot to issue the next command at Alexa's pacing rather than yours. But after a few trial sessions it's very natural. I should have done this from the outset, because in reality you often want to do a few things back-to-back like play, set volume, change shuffle. There's a new section in the online docs at https://mediaserver.smartskills.tech/mediaserverhelp.html#section-1-5. PLease also let me know if that's clear enough.
