There is a delay built into the plugin when you change the volume. I think its about 1/2 but then the whole system my add another 1/2 or so. This is to keep the user from overrunning the Denon which has a pretty poor communications system in my opinion. The delay is there so if you rapidly change

I also have a Boom, and without the numeric keys it is only possible to use the Play option. I am also using a plugin called Switch Player 0.2 by Triode, I can save the bookmarks 0-9 on my Squeezebox and the recall the one I want back onto the Squeezebox and then using Switch Player what is play
