If you look back a few post you'll see that failure of DASH URLs in the
BBCiPlayer plugin Listen Again started about 9th April - It affect UK
and non UK and it is a BBC
I am also getting the same error reports as DASH is tried first.
Perhaps it is a UK stream thing?

Does anyone knows if the developer who created Spicefly SugarCube is
still supporting it?

I am seeing the symptoms as described by Grahama.
I note that that the stream subsequently played (after the error
message) is a lower quality stream (127 comes to mind) rather than the
higher bitrate DASH streams.
I'll have a poke around tomorrow and see if I can be a bit more
informative
Somebody knows 'AcousticBrainz' (https://acousticbrainz.org/)?
It looks like, that the analysis is similar, to what Echonest/Echoprint
is doing. Maybe in the future this is the basic for something similar to
Smart Mix.
So it looks like, that in LMS only MusicIP is working again for
intelligent

The plugin trying DASH first and then trying HLS should be transparent -
no messages should show. It doesn't show any
I just read that The Echonest API will no longer work as of May 31 2016,
with everything run from then through the Spotify API.

Does this mean the end of the Smart Mix plugin?
Yep, seems they put the final nail in the coffin :-(. When they

Hi,
I am trying to get the Inguz equalizer working on LMS 7.8.0 / vortexbox
2.3 / squeezelite player / Fedora 20.
So far I managed to load the equalizer into the GUI and am seeing it
partially. However I don't see the .wav files loaded into the
MatrixImpulses directory. Also when activating the
Battery and Wi-Fi symbols are supported in CC on Radio. Check the

"Can't open File for" message means you system cannot handle an audio
format or a protocol. The BBC is currently providing bad DASH urls for
the BBCiPlayer "Listen Again" menus so the BBCiPlayer setting must have
HLS as a valid format.
"No Items in Playlist" is what it is - the BBC says there

bpa - Thank you so much for this fix!
BBC iPlayer 1.4.7 works beautifully on my setup (LMS running on a
Synology NAS system) - although I do get an error message on my Radio
screen when playing back Listen Again items:
E.g. Listening to yesterday's Pick Of The Week on BBC R4 (LW)
Problem:
IIRC sync depends on an accurate clock on the audio hardware and many
PCs don't have good audio hardware but also sometime Windows can do a
lot of s/w processing (e.g. resample 44.1kHZ to 48 Khz) .
On Windows there are a few different audio API and perhaps one may be
better for your setup.
I was one more time trying to post how good, not exactly perfect, but so
satisfying, was Airplay Bridge when syncing SB hardware with Airplay
hardware.
This time I had the idea of recording how sync fares. I guess it's
better than words.
For anyone interested, 'this Sync.m4a file located on
One more SB3 is never a bad choice I would say.
But given the environment you describe and the asking price for an SB
these days, I would take a 2nd hand/refurbished Airport Express
(2012-current model) and put that near the PC. You would get line out
for the PC (digital or analog) and a boost to
