Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotify Family for Squeezebox

2016-09-05 Thread Chiily

I have piCoreplay installed on a PI 3 running LMS and to the life of me
I can not get the family Spotify plugin to let me set up multiple
Spotify accounts.

Configuration is a PI3 with LMS streaming to a Hifiberry digi+ card and
also feeding a squeezebox touch.

I have the spotifyfamily4 plugin installed. The official Spotify plugin
and triod's 3rd party spotify plugin are uninstalled.

Going to advanced in the LMS setup page and selecting spotifyfamily4
from the pull down on the left just gives me the standard, one user and
one password page - the usual one for just the triod single user spotify
plugin.

I'm at a loss to find the page to input my other family members' login
details. Where can I find the right page please?

I moved it to sourceforge but forgot to include it in the repo URL.

There's an identical product called Digifunk. On the amazon site, the
official Digifunk reply to a user question about syncing with other
airplay devices was that it isn't possible.

Did you download the mdnssd-win.exe and cc32160mt.dll and put them in
the same directory "c:\users\Micke"? Unfortunately, although I'm not
100%, but yes, it's likely that sync will not work. But if your AVR has
AirPlay, then you can try to sync the DOSS with it using iTunes and see
it it works

Oh...lets see if I can figure this out:
First I tested with my AVR and there was sound output and synch worked,
(seemes like Dont stop the music stops working with synched players
though) Log attached.
About your first edit. As I understand I can run this "tool" (?) on my
Windows PC for looking through my network for AirPlay devices. I dont
manage to do that. Running the exe gives me nothing and entering the
line above in a commandline gives me this response:

-C:\Users\Micke>mdnssd-win -d _raop._tcp.local
'mdnssd-win' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.-

So I must missunderstand something.
Anyhow, I begin to understand that the ugly truth is what you post in
[edit2] :)
It was cheap, but also got good reviews and sound pretty good for its
size, well the wife likes it with her iPhone.
If sync is not likely with this speaker, I´ll try something else.

Thanks a lot for your efforts

Just curious if you ever got a chance to move the PlayHLS plugin to

I re-enabled DASH streaming fo Listen Again, and everything I tried from
today's (Mon Sept 5) streams has worked flawlessly. From Saturday Sept
3, Any Questions is impossible for me to stream, always giving the same
error as before. So it looks like some temporary glitch with a few of
the streams on the weekend.

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] New plugin for audio bookmarks

2016-09-05 Thread vn30

Yes,
Bookmark the context menu for the "Now Playing" screen does not exist
with Deezer and Spotify. The menu entry "Add bookmark for current
playlist" missing with "Squeeze Control" and "Orange Squeeze".
If I have saved the playlist in the local "playlists", appears in the
context menu "prebookmark". I set the hook, or I click "prebookmark" on,
nothing happens.
...
The "Now Playing" context menu entry works very well with podcasts and
audiobooks local. It would be great if one could with Deezer and
Spotify. I have tested the new bookmark plugin and with the latest 7.9
Media Server.

Hmm it came back ? The message , together with another plugin ? Maybe I
should keep auto update off for a while :)

Yeah, I think it might be a problem (bug?) in LMS which shows up when
plugins disappear. And with the recent end of Google code this might be
an issue for many.

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Spotify Premium Plugin (Beta)

2016-09-05 Thread Michael Herger

My Touch (and my Radio) crashes frequently when using the Spotify app.
Is there anything one can do lower that frequency? Apart from skipping
between playlists too fast? Anything that can effect the number of
crashes, primarily for the Touch?

FWICT it's really the skipping which does kill it. I haven't figured out
an exact rule, but there sure is a problem. And I have no solution for it.
