I activated ShairTunes2 on my LMS server (v 7.9.0) and was able to see my four devices on my iPhone 6s at once. And, when I fired up Amazon Prime Music I was able to transfer playback to my device(s). Two of them are Duet receivers and two are Logitech internet radios. I tried first with a receiver, then with one of the radios. In both cases, the display on the Controller or the radio showed the music being played, but no sound played. After a brief interval (a few seconds) the display indicated that a connection timed out. Am I missing a step here? Any help would be appreciated. Understood - I took it from the over-simpified view of using the default receiver (CC1AD845) in the CCA, but that's true that I guess many 3rd party application controllers load their own app to protect their content exchange, so what happens after the "load" request is unknown. On every of them I can listen to Spotify. If I now synchronize B with A and play something on B it works on B but doesn't power on A. On the other hand if I synchronize B with C, both are powered on but I get the "Connection reset by host message" on both players. [SlimDevices: Plugins] Spotify with synced players
Hi, I've Spotify installed on my local LMS server (7.9.0 - 1480066117 / x86_64-linux) using the SPH and official Logitech Spotify App. This works fine for single players, but fails as soon as two players (Radios) are synchronized with the error message "Connection reset by local host". I also tried to go back to Triodes plugin, which I already used earlier, but this no longer seems to work in my case. Helper app is running, an log means I'm successfully logged in, but there are a lot of ChannelErrors in the log, and all tracks are just skipping. Self-Test even fails with helper app not running. Does the SPH support synchronized players? Or what plugin should I use to have Spotify working with synchronized players? When I start Squeeze Control on my Windows 10 machine it always crashes upon first launch and then runs fine the second time. Curious if you have any ideas. It's not a big deal for the moment. I just count on launching twice. No a restart of the machine does not install the plugin. Now I've tried several plugin's but since LMS cannot reboot they alle cannot be installed. LMS worked perfectly fine on the same machine before, it (netgear nas r102) might be a problem with the firmware and LMS. Maybe this is not right place to ask questions. It might be the Netgear firmare that's causing the problems, it might be LMS. Did you ever fully uninstall LMS since you updated the firmware? if I add one spotify track to an empty playlist, and then add another, the first track will repeat for ever, and the 2nd will never get played. You don't have any repeat mode enabled, do you? If you added an album (or playlist), would it play everything, then stop, or would it start from scratch again? Does anyone have any ideas? Hi, recently inherited a Touch and following recommendations, Squeeze Ctrl. Even though I ignored the (welcome and honest) advice of running LMS (7.9) on my Synology 215J NAS and the library is 50K+, the performance on my Lenovo 10" tablet running 6.01 is fine with me, and the app looks and operates extremely well. This is the only Android app I have ever purchased, and I am extremely pleased. Being new to both the Squeezebox Touch and Squeeze Ctrl, I am still finding my way around them, but whilst the Touch lists Album Artist and displays in Album Artist, Squeeze Ctrl is putting the same album in Compilations (Various Artists). How do I get Album Artist to work please? For example Peter Gabriel, with Peter Gabriel; Kate Bush on one track, is not a Compilation on the Touch, but is on the app. Many thanks in advance, and otherwise all working logically and as expected.
