That's a feature.
The volume in iPeng can be controlled by the server and so it's being
set to the value stored on the server when you last used it and it being
set back to what it was when you leave the app.
For this iPeng uses the system volume so that you can use the volume
buttons, too, hence

That's by design. Some people want it one way (showing all artist roles
was one of the often made change requests before iPeng 7) some the
other.
There's no usable LMS setting or I'd use that. And iPeng already has way
too many settings so it's now as it is. This is the same way Logitech's
App
I don't know how the plugins work, too. But neither SongLyrics nor MAI
do show lyrics so it's probably something with the API

I just bought a Chromecast Audio and installed the CastBridge plugin.
Everything fine (thanks a lot to the developpers) except that after a
few (10 to 20) minutes when listening HD (24/96) flac files the cubox
crashes. Not only LMS.

is playing, I get the cover expanded to fullscreen and then on the
bottom I get information about the Song Title, the Album Title, etc. In
addition iPeng shows me all the composers or - when there are none in

As far as I could check (O do not know that much about how the plugin
works):
I went to chartlyrics.com and did a "Search Query".
After that I got the lyrics on the web page.

I had previously a cheaper zyxel nsa325 NAS, but replaced it recently by
a synology ds415 which has the LMS software included...
So I installed the LMS on the synology ds415 and everything works fine
for my local music, but after I installed the 3th party spotify plugin,

Yes, with the Perl update Synology reverted the Audio::Scan version back
to 0.93. This means no DSD
