You want to "pause" the LMS player and that "pause" should be forwarded to your iOS device, right? This has not changed with recent versions and should work. Now what I'm wondering is that when "Wait for sync" is disabled, what might be the problem is that LMS "pause" will be forwarded to iOS, it will pause the stream (that will pause -again- LMS) and iOS will then send silent frames, that will be detected as a restart of playback by the plugin, forwarded to LMS as "play" which then can be sent to iOS as "play" again ... confusing, I need to check that LMS 7.7, 7.8 and 7.9 - 5xRadio, 3xBoom, 4xDuet, 1xTouch, 1 SB2. I've changed that to 2000ms which is also the > value within the app. But it has no effect, I still can't hear anything > at all No, not the latency, in the dev repository there is a new parameter called "Wait for Sync" that should solve you problem, but you need to move to the dev version. What happens is that, according to the AirPlay protocol guide, a "1st audio packet" and "1st sync" flag should be set when the audio controller (iTunes or your i device) restarts playing. iTunes does that, iOS was but some 3rd party app did not. It seems that starting version 10.2.x, iOS has stopped doing this as well. So normally, in AirPlay, when pausing, the controller sends a "flush" command and stops sending audio the "flush" is used to tell LMS to pause). After a few seconds, usually, the controller teardown the connection, but if you unpause before this couple of seconds, it starts sending audio frames again and the 1st frame / sync packet have this flag set. I use this flag to detect a restart of playing and then act accordingly with LMS. This was very important as AirPlay protocol does NOT tell you that playing restarts, it just sends audio frames, that's it ... So, in iOS 10.2.x, the flag are not set anymore so I have to "guess" that playback is restarting by just detecting that I receive audio again after a "flush" command has been received. Unfortunately, to make that even more painful, iOS 10.2.x has decided that during these couple of seconds after the "flush", it will continue sending audio, but silence frames. So this is super confusing to try to translate that for LMS. "flush" indicates a "pause" but audio restarts immediately which means "play". Long story short, when you uncheck "wait for sync", you'll have this pause/play then couple of seconds stop thing in LMS, but it should work, still LMS 7.7, 7.8 and 7.9 - 5xRadio, 3xBoom, 4xDuet, 1xTouch, 1 SB2. 2.6.13 5s delay after starting HQPlayer before trying to open TCP channel, to fix initial handshaking When HQPlayer buffer folder present and .mp3 or .m4a file played, convert to .aiff in buffer folder before playing 2.6.14 Add an option to include Unrated tracks in the track filter: Track wizard function from hierarchy view applies filters to tracks queued (doesnt just pick any track from an album that qualifies in the selected node) Manage Bookmarks window (from Bookmarks menu) 2.6.15 Newest Albums toolbar - an option to see the newest albums added to Muso in a persistent toolbar, unaffected by filters, mode or browser view. 2.6.16 Move Newest Album Toolbar preference from Options screen to main toolbar (easier to toggle on/off as required) Albums on Newest Albums toolbar now have album context menu Album/Track context menu has album/track name as menu title. 2.6.17 Show track rating on screen saver Basic AIFF tag reading through ATL library (extended tags not covered) Album menu option to write dynamic tags & all tags as well as static tags. Option to sort albums on artist page by rating. 2.6.18 "Re-import album folder" underneath "Browse album folder" - even if "Check updated meta-data on Import" pref is off. More immediate display of covers for new albums in newset albums toolbar. +/- size on new albums toolbar. 2.6.19 Fix re-import of specific folder following previous cancellation Allow extended tags in custom actions to include _ and other non-whitespace characters Basic musicbrainz integration Read LAST_PLAYED extended tag in folder scan (was missing) Remove artwork zoom from now playing icon and album page - come up with something better later? 2.6.20 Albums sorted by rating: when rating exactly the same rate one with more plays first. Re-introduce large cover image on hover over main cover on artist/track page, with support for drag to other app. 2.6.21 Show last played date/time on track page (in info top right). Also show as tooltip on hover over play count in album or artist page. Respect modifier keys on Enqueue Track button on Track page (play NEXT if shift key down, NOW if control key down). Player Stop button added to main UI 2.6.22 Basic playlist control - on LMS and HQPlayer. 2.6.23 Implement drag on playlist (for those players that support playlist manipulation) On re-ordering through arrow buttons ensure focused queue entry stays visible if the list is scrollable. Extend support for playlist manipulation to Embedded Player (WMP) 2.6.24 WMP Embedded - play item from playlist by activation fixed Scheduled LMS re-scan preferences (Options/Music Sources/LMS) Full LMS re-scan now copies .db files to local folder (when remote) to make scan much faster overall (at the expense of an initial file copy) - new option (defaults to on) File scanner and iTunes Import also use background threads: more readily cancellable, and UI remains responsive Scanning progress on bottom right of status bar, separate from foreground status on left. 2.6.25 Re-organised Options screen: scalable layout (category tree on left, scrollable options panel on right) to allow for ever-growing list of options (was getting too tight to fit everything into non-scrolling form). Save & reload playlist options Clear Playlist option available on all players, behind right-click on playlist header Use full cover as source for artwork on remote now playing screen. Fix HQPlayer feedback of first track when conversion required. More information about each playlist item via the hover tooltip, including album and additional contributors. 2.6.26 Left panel is resizable via splitter to allow user to widen playlist. Not persisted. Fix redisplay of anything already in HQPlayer playlist from temp/buffer location when HQPlayer connected. Play Next functions for LMS player insert into correct position on muso playlist. 2.6.26.01 (patch) Fix unpinning of side panel, and improve hide/show logic for smooth operation. HQPlayer its own tab on Options, when turned on in Players tab 2.6.26.02 Use lower left panel as generic process panel instead of showing progress in status bar. Minor fixes, including navigation to Options pages from Help page. 2.6.26.03 Filter preset enhancements Turn on muso2.log on startup implicitly to capture startup errors, turn off once started. 2.6.27 Fix drag image into album on main browser (to replace cover) Cumulation of small bug fixes 2.6.28 Reimport Album Folder - refresh album display only after background process completes. Edit notes - click in textarea while editing shouldn't finish the edit - allow click & drag to hilite an area. Import m3u on filescan skips tracks that do not exist. File tag reader can cope with several conductors; combines them into the conductor field. Trackstat import from LMS writes ..._stat.log not ..._full.log, and excludes dup-reporting for tracks that no longer exist. 2.6.29 Re-import Album Folder - show status label in process window Take control of external page

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: UPnPBridge = integrate UPnP/DLNA players with LMS (squeeze2upnp)
Hi Philippe , Thanks first of all for putting all the effort in for keeping LMS up to date with all new audio gadgets available these days :). I discovered your plugins only recently (not reading the forums enough I guess). Also I had to wait a log time before Devialet made a Upnp renderer available on the Phantoms. But suddenly it was there! I installed you plugin as per instruction; I actually witnessed it working the first time via the LMS webinterface. Then I also installed your CHromecast bridge plugin and then the Upnp bridge started crashing and restarting several times per minute, continuously, like so Starting Squeeze2upnp: /usr/local/zy-pkgs/gui/SqueezeCenter/Cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins/UPnPBridge/Bin/squeeze2upnp-armv5te -Z -I -f /usr/local/zy-pkgs/gui/SqueezeCenter/Logs/upnpbridge.log -d all=debug -x /usr/local/zy-pkgs/gui/SqueezeCenter/prefs/upnpbridge.xml Retarting Squeeze2upnp after crash: /usr/local/zy-pkgs/gui/SqueezeCenter/Cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins/UPnPBridge/Bin/squeeze2upnp-armv5te -Z -I -f /usr/local/zy-pkgs/gui/SqueezeCenter/Logs/upnpbridge.log -d all=debug -x /usr/local/zy-pkgs/gui/SqueezeCenter/prefs/upnpbridge.xml Retarting Squeeze2upnp after crash: /usr/local/zy-pkgs/gui/SqueezeCenter/Cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins/UPnPBridge/Bin/squeeze2upnp-armv5te -Z -I -f /usr/local/zy-pkgs/gui/SqueezeCenter/Logs/upnpbridge.log -d all=debug -x /usr/local/zy-pkgs/gui/SqueezeCenter/prefs/upnpbridge.xml Please notice the not standard location LMS is installed in ( a zyxel packages folder). When I start the plugin from command line with parameters like above this happens: / # /usr/local/zy-pkgs/gui/SqueezeCenter/Cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins/UPnPBridge/Bin/squeeze2upnp-armv5te -Z -I -f /usr/local/zy-pkgs/ gui/SqueezeCenter/Logs/upnpbridge.log -d all=debug -x /usr/local/zy-pkgs/gui/SqueezeCenter/prefs/upnpbridge.xml Segmentation fault (core dumped) / # When I start it without the -x parameter it starts! It finds the upnp renderer quick and I am able to play music. Seems like there's troubles with the configuration file generation. THis is the plugin's log file content: !! ERROR LOADING CONFIG FILE ! Probably a dumb question... I'd like to play the 'Dein Mixtape #' playlists in Spotty. I can find them in the Spotify client under 'Deine Musik' but not in Spotty. Anybody knows where to find? Mixtapes unfortunately aren't playlists accessible through the API. They're treated differently. The only way right now is to save them as playlists, then pick them up from there. But those playlists wouldn't update. -- Michael ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

I have two SBT units both synced and using my Raspberry piCoreplayer with frequently updated LMS 7.9.1. Playing an MP3 album from my media library on the server works correctly until I turn on the second player, then the music pauses every 30 seconds or so before continuing. After a while they skip to the last track in the playlist, and plays that. Then DSTM kicks in and another 25 tracks are added but the players pause and then skip to the last of the newly added files. I have only noticed this since about Thursday. Can not think of anything that I have changed at that time. Has been happening just now but there are no new entries in LMS server log.
