What version of LMS are you running? Nightly builds? I think I saw some weird stuff with the nightly LMS around that time and I went back to stable 7.9.1-1522157629 (Mar 30 2018). SLX does not do anything on 5 second intervals. It does check that the server is still there every 8 seconds. Does it behave this way with a regular browser? I have a spare R-Pi, so I guess what I'll do is install the latest nightly LMS on it and see what it does and try and remember why uninstalled the nightly a month or so ago. Can you check and see if your issue is on a 5 second interval or an 8 second interval just so I know in case something I am doing is causing this. I had a sd card crash, so I have to make a new install, but I'm stuck at this section now: Copy mmm.ini from the /home/pi/MusicIP/MusicMagicMixer folder to /home/pi/.MusicMagic/ or download a stripped version from http://spicefly.com/files/mp/mmm.ini to /home/pi/.MusicMagic/ Make it editable: sudo chmod a+rw /home/pi/.MusicMagic/mmm.ini edit mmm.ini and adjust the path for the cache, in my case to /home/pi/.MusicMagic/default.m3lib then save the file when I copy the mmm.ini with this command: sudo cp /home/osmc/MusicIP/MusicMagicMixer /home/osmc/.MusicMagic, it will create a .MusicMagic file. When I do this: sudo cp /home/osmc/MusicIP/MusicMagicMixer /home/osmc/.MusicMagic/, I get: cp: cannot create regular file '/home/osmc/.MusicMagic/': Not a directory When I do this: sudo cp /home/osmc/MusicIP/MusicMagicMixer/mmm.ini /home/osmc/.MusicMagic/mmm.ini, I get this: cp: cannot create regular file '/home/osmc/.MusicMagic/mmm.ini': No such file or directory. When I go in my /home/osmc directory, there is no .MusicMagic directory. I also tried creating one, but that didn't work. So what am I missing here? I did manage to make it work the last time, so it must be something simple. BLUETOOTH UPDATE: We just released a new beta with our Squeezebox Server Integration for Bluetooth added! It works just like the last versions integration, except a lot smoother than before and with a little less latency. Just make the beta update, install the Squeezebox Server Solution at the bottom of the Bluetooth menu, pair you phone or tablet and the Squeezebox Server on the device (must be on the same Pi) automatically starts audio playback from your paired bluetooth device and stops once you stop. Afterwards, it will also resume its current playlist or whatever you had playing on it. I tested today on a 3B+ and it worked great. FYI Spotify Connect Plugin was recently edited. If you are having issues with it, just click the reinstall button and it should work again.
