I meant the BBCiPlayer plugin Recent Tracks menu but the info should be
the same.
I'll do a bit more digging. A quick looks seems ot indicate that
Just to sing along: I'm also on 1.4.5 and my minibrowser is also still

This isn't a big issue - everything else works just fine - so don't bend

Confirmed, no change with 1.4.5: on my main laptop I get an access

I think one problem could be that crontab does not have the same
environment like a logged-in user, e.g. path, variables...
If none of the
'squeeze-alexa 1.3'
(https://github.com/declension/squeeze-alexa/releases/tag/v1.3) is now
out with various internal improvements. It's now Python 3.x only, for
what it's worth. :)
Also... a 2.0 version is coming soon, with better networking support
using switchable transports depending on what
Squeezeplay clients (Squeezeplay attached, but Joggler is same) show
same as web ui. The info shown on SB3 screen is never seen anywhere
else.

I don't use LMS as a service and don't know limitiations/restrictions on
a service.
I know when run on Winodws as a background service - there is no access
to hardware such as CDROM.
Could systemd have already been setup to handle a CDROM event (i.e. when
you insert a CD into drive does Linux
All I'm saying is when I pick a station that is just playing a pop/rock
song like Radio 1/2/6, my SB3 says "Song by Artist" and the information
is not on the web browser interface of LMS. It will have a long
description of the details of the show etc, but never "Song by Artist".
Perhaps we have a semantics issue.
Example of what I mean. Two screenshots of same program on BBC R3. It
shows LMS has same live info as BBC Web player including "track" info.

Hmmm... I never see song info in the web browser (using DASH). I see

Found out what I did wrong.
First I need to run this command:
Code:
sudo -u root qemu-i386 /home/osmc/MusicIP/MusicMagicMixer/MusicMagicServer

Hi,
I tried again reinstall LMS for newer version of 7.9.2 at rpi 2B as I
have tested it at ubuntu intel NUC machine and it was running well the
CDplayer in instant mode and with no white noise whatever.
The latest LMS info:

To start it again:
Code:
sudo service mmserver start

"oddly" is for sure.
just now, Android Spotify showed the device at the bottom bar as the
active device.
as stated, it normally does not do this.
per your comment, i tried a complete re-install and there's no device at
the bottom bar,
just in the settings...
what is pCP?
i now do the "shutdown"
Android Spotify app does show the device if i dive into the
settings/devices;
Hmm... there's an increasing number of reports where the Android app
would behave oddly. As I mentioned earlier today some users reported
deleting/re-installing it would make it work again. Can't tell, as I
don't

It seems this function doesn't even need any plugin. I'm going to check
out this evening!
Those options come from Music Artist Information.

Great to see it works!
Searching the web for "iPeng" and "Textdatei" I found a thread covering
exactly my question. So just for the record and those able to read
german, here you go (starting at #7822):

As in the beta pakage of DSM?
Or Betas in pakage center? =)
Sorry for
It's available under the "Textdateien aus dem Ordner" or similar menu
item on albums and tracks. Some files like "biography.pdf" or
"review.pdf" would show up under the Biography or Album Review menu
respectively.

For your nas there are hardly any benefits at the moment, if you're
running LmsUpdate 7.9.1 that is. If you have the beta package of
Synology installed, you're missing out 1.5 years of development ;)

I looked at it yesterday evening, but unfortunately it does not provide
this option. This plugin is all about loading album covers and artist
pictures, be it local or online, into LMS.

shows it is flashing green about every second. It is labelled ACT. Same
