Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotty 2.4.x - Spotify Connect for your Squeezebox
Squeezelite is normally started using systemd with options -a 4096:1024:16:0 -n 'Squeezelite Woonkamer' -f /var/log/squeezelite.log This is the dafult settings Dietpi installs it with , except for the -C 5, which I removed to keep the HDMI connection with my receiver alive. Hmmm... none of the buffer options used (which I know can cause issues). Unless they did compile with some non-standard parameters this shouldn't behave any different than a pCP. I'm sorry to say I have no idea what is going on there :-( -- Michael ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Sorry, I guess I'm confused. I think I need you to define what you're describing as the "Main Screen". Of course, the shuffle, repeat, etc. are always in the same place on the upper task bar and function the same everywhere except on the "Now Playing" page where the press and hold of the shuffle button never brings up the little sub-menu. Also, I don't see "Cancel" anywhere. If I press and hold the shuffle button on any other page, there's a "Don't Shuffle Playlist" item when the menu appears, but nothing that says "Cancel". "Album" is what is shown in the "Albums" menu and "Artist, Year, Album" is shown under "Artists->All Albums". iPeng never sorts except on the track level simply because it can't. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Material Skin
Changes: - Initial work on SlimBrowse - only used in favorites and radios so far. - Dutch, German, and French translations. - Group players have no replaygain setting. - Show album year in play queue. - Don't sort favorites - as the order can be determined in default web UI. - Ensure volume is only ever adjusted whilst dialog is shown. - Add insert action. Hopefully this fixes the update and volume issues. cpd73's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=66686 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109624 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] iPeng support thread
Hi Pippin, In past versions (I'm using the latest version of iPeng on an iPad) I used to be able turn the shuffle function on and off from the "now playing" screen. This no longer seems to work. Is that on purpose or a bug? Or, have I inadvertently done something to change this? When I'm in the iPeng screen where all tracks are listed, tapping and holding the shuffle button brings up a menu where I can choose from various types of shuffle. I'm o.k. with shuffling from there, but it was nice to just be able to do it from "now playing". Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Material Skin
Thank you for a really nice skin! Works very well in normal use (after disabling the "automatic update of plugins" until next release), especially nice in a Chrome window started with the "--app" parameter. I use it all the time now. Simple and clean :-) However, I tried to setup the test config mentioned last in the Readme and couldn't make it work: > The skin may be installed on a machine separate to LMS. Currently this > is how its developed. e.g. > > cd in the material folder > Start python's simple HTTP server - e.g. python -m SimpleHTTPServer > Access on localhost via http://localhost:8000/?lms=192.168.0.1 > (replace 192.168.0.1 with the IP address of the LMS server) > I have tried on two PC's (both are Linux Mint 18.3) using latest Firefox and Chrome, but it seems to hang with a rotating symbol and text "Looking for players". When I open a java console it shows recurring messages as quoted below: Code: Access to XMLHttpRequest at 'http://linux2:9000/jsonrpc.js' from origin 'http://localhost:8000' has been blocked by CORS policy: No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource. server.js:76 Error: Network Error at e.exports (axios.min.js:8) at XMLHttpRequest.l.onerror (axios.min.js:8) I downloaded the plugin as a Zip-file from Github, unzipped and started the python SimpleHTTPServer with the 'material' dir as working directory. Do you have any idea as to what I'm missing? It seems a key message to the LMS server ("linux2" in my case) is blocked on the client by the browser. Please note - this is not a big issue in any way. The skin is actually working very well indeed. 2 Touch, 1 Picoreplayer 4.0.0 on RaspBerry 3B with 7" display LMS latest nightly on Ubuntu 18.04.1 on Intel Core2 Duo E4500 @ 2.20GHz, 2GB All wired BosseJ's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=67378 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109624 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Just updated Spotty and indeed it now works again for that album. Thanks for the fast turnaround! Thanks for the report: I already thought there was something wrong with my mixes, but didn't look into it. Spotify must have changes something about the search call, as searches with names with a space in them totally failed. And I'm sure I tested this before, as most of my favorite artists come with a space. -- Michael ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
