Ynot,

Thank you so much for all of your work on this project.

I am a bit in over my head with this installation, specifically
modifying lmscontrols.yaml. You state that up to 10 players are able to
be controlled but in some of the sections that need edited there are
only 7 or 8 players setup to be edited. Being a copy and paste warrior
and not a coder, I'm a bit stumped.

I'd also take any recommendations for editing software.

Thank you in advance.

I agree but keep your files on the NAS which is what even an old NAS is
very good at.

You install piCorePlayer on a Pi and mount your NAS via either CIFS or
NFS. Then you enable LMS and point it at the mounted drive.

This approach gets round all the incompatibility issues of your NAS but
keeps it doing what it does best.

Looks correct. If the curl command failed without the auth token then it
was just a permissions error inside your local network. Glad it's
resolved.

I think I saw you in the logs trying to request playback of a specific
version of Money by Pink Floyd by specifying the album name. As you
found out, that does not work, but I'll put it on my list for the next

Because when it happened on my device, a rescan was the only thing that
fixed it.

Without going into technical details, all the other apps talk to the
server in a slightly different way and may not be affected by library
corruption in the same way as Squeeze Ctrl.

I'm sorry, but your processor architecture or operating system most
likely is not compatible with Spotty. You can still give it a try. But
don't be surprised if it fails...

Operating system: Synology DSM 6.2.2 (pinkdot) / powerpc-linux

Unfortunately I've never been able to build the binary for the PowerPC
architecture. A popular recommendation in this situation is to use the
NAS as a NAS, and run LMS on a Raspberry Pi instead. I had to do this
myself as I didn't get Spotty to work on my NAS either. And the switch
to the Pi was easy and totally worth it.

but I don't think that's the root cause of the problem cause even when

an indication of library corruption cause a full rescan seems to fix it.

Using Squeeze Ctrl, many of the album artist pictures are incorrect. The
picture for 10cc is actually the cover art for an Alice Watts album. If
I go to Album Artists/Alice Watts, this album displays the artist
picture for "Charles Wright & The Watts 103rd St River Band", etc. . .
etc..

All other controllers are fine including web browser default and
material skins.

Is there a way to purge the cache for this app.

Now you should be able to confirm version of IO::Socket::SSL as
displayed in WebUI Settings/Information

No.
The security associated with https has been updated many times due to
bugs such as Heartbleed and updates to SSL/TLS encryption versions
The libio-socket-ssl-perl is part of Perl world but updated after and
separate from RAIDiator so you need to have an updated version but it
may not be available as you have a system for which most updates have
stopped a few years ago.
The relevant module may be available from the Debian archive for Sparc
systems.
Please read the thread I referenced as it is about this issues

Make sure you're running the latest and greatest LMS and software player
(if you're using one). What platform are you on anyway?

If that wasn't enough, go to Settings/Advanced/File Formats and disable
Spotty -> Ogg. That would force Spotty to transcode to FLAC again.

I installed youtube-dl command line program for linux recently. Only
the latest version works (the standard repo version is outdated) because
YT has made changes.
