Hi there, just tried the material skin, but want to revert back to standard. Unfortunately, in settings I can no longer find an entry to switch layout. My son wants to use its own account with his playlist etc... from this spotify family account? How is it possible ? Go to Settings/Advanced/Spotty and add his account, too. I'm a little bit confused as spotty has the option to add account, and I see another plugin "Triode spottify for Family 1, 2,3...) Forget Triode's plugin. Spotty is all you need. My son has an Android Mobile. He cannot see the Picoreplaer on its spotify. he sees others spottify clients (my Yamaha Amp,...) Should he use a specific trick ? or pair his account to Spotty plugin (extra account) or use Triode spotify 2 ? Under certain circumstances Spotty would not be able to announce its services in your network. In that case only the owner of the account configured in Spotty would see the players. -- Michael ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Thank you so much for doing this! The music files have to feature these (additional) tags: - GENRE=Classical (! Otherwise it won't show in the "Klassik" menu.) - COMPOSER=Beethoven, Ludwig van - WORK=Klavierkonzert Nr. 4, G-Dur, op. 58 - RECORDING=Hélène Grimaud / Masur / New York Philharmonic (1999, live) - You'll need to install Multi Library, Custom Browse, and Custom Scan - Configure Multi Library (I): - Copy this file (unzipped): 29016 to your playlist directory. That will create a menu "Klassik", including all music tagged "classical". - Configure Custom Scan (Settings Section): - Module Settings Custom Tag - Tags to scan: WORK,RECORDING,OCCASION - Single value tags:WORK,RECORDING - Sort tag mapping: ARTIST=ARTISTSORT,COMPOSER=COMPOSERSORT,CONDUCTOR=CONDUCTORSORT - Module Settings Mixed Tag - Artist: ARTIST - Conductor:CONDUCTOR,ARTIST - Band: BAND,ARTIST - Module Settings LastFM & Rating Tag - Module is enabled: uncheck for both - Configure Custom Browse: - Copy this file (unzipped): 29018 to your playlist directory. This will create the menu "Komponisten". It has three levels: Composer -> Work -> Recording - Settings: Menu position: Extras - Enabled Menus: Check both checkboxes for "Klassik/Komponisten" - Rescan your library. This may take some time because, after the "normal" scan, Custom Scan will scan the library again. You can see if it's still scanning by checking Plugins / Custom Scan / Settings. This scan takes about half the time of a normal scan. - Configure Multi Library (II): In the WebUI, go to Home / Extras / Multi Library. "Klassik" should be listed. If the number of songs is zero, click on "Refresh libraries". If the menu is empty, the second XML file (the Custom Browse menu) might need to be recreated. Sometimes a new ID gets assigned but the file still points to the old one (hence lib_1_~. That library needs to have ID 1 to work). +---+ |Filename: classical_workbycomposer.cb.values.xml.zip | |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=29018| +---+ QLMS 7.9.2@2.04 x64 (digimaster) with perl 5.28 dedicated to me. :D / QNAP 469L QTS 4.3.4 dolodobendan's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=67663 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109624 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

[SlimDevices: Plugins] Qobuz Dropouts
I am running LMS 7.9 with the Qobuz plugin. All was well until a few weeks ago when I started having total dropouts when playing back Qobuz playlsists. They only last for a second or two and happen every couple of minutes (varying, not periodic). It does not happen if I am playing Qobuz playlists directly on my Mac, suggesting it is an issue related to Wifi coverage (playback is via UPnP and using Squeezepad as a controller). I can't think of anything in the house that could suddenly have started disrupting things and have tried turning several appliances etc. off to no avail. I did change the Mac OS to Catalina a few weeks back - would this have anything to do with it ? Qobuz version is JS version5.3.0-b009 Desktop version5.3.0-b005 Any ideas where can start to look for the source of the problem ? Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Material Skin
Something I would find very useful is the ability to sort results differently depending on the genre. For instance, when I choose from the list of available albums by Pink Floyd, I want to see them in date order. However, when I look at works available by Ludwig Van Beethoven, I want to see them alphabetical by album. Another "Classical" oddity: some CDs have works by multiple composers/orchestras/conductors. Often, I'll break these into separate "albums" but keep all the files in the same folder ordered by track number. It would be great to have an option when selecting one of these albums to "Play all from folder". This would replicate playback of the original CD. Will check out the latest development build, thanks. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Material Skin
For Material 1.3.0 one of the features I'm currently thinking about implementing is a Material-specific Browse Modes setting. This is a set of checkboxes in 'Server Settings / Plugins / Material Skin' page, the same as what appears in 'Player Settings / Additional Browse Modes' This will allow controlling the standard (Artist, Album, etc) browse modes that will appear under 'My Music' in Material - and will be the same no matter what player is selected. As a user its always struck me as odd that the list of browse modes needs to be set per player. Now, I can see the use-case when the player is a real squeezebox, and hence it has its own on-player menus - therefore controlling the selection here makes sense. But, with a control point (such as Material, iPeng, SqueezeCtrl) this (to me) does not make much sense, and the list of modes on these should (ideally) be per-user. For Material, pinnnig items to the home-screen is a way of allowing a user to control their list of modes. The next logical step was to make the list of modes under 'My Music' be consistent no matter what player is selected. And this is what I'm proposing to implement for 1.3.0 Before anyone asks, I'm not planning on implementing a toggle between per-player and material-set browse modes. The appearance of non-standard items (CustomBrowse, TrackStat, etc) will remain unchanged - as (AFAIK) you cannot toggle these on/off per player. If anyone has a git checkout and wants to try this, its in the 201-browse-modes branch (201 being the github issue) cpd73's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=66686 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109624 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
