Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Music & Artist Information plugin
I recently purchased the new album Gigaton by Pearl Jam and noticed that 2 out of 3 songs I tried to get lyrics for showed wrong lyrics: - the lyrics for the song 'Alright' showed those for a song called 'The Kids Are Alright' - the lyrics for the song 'Comes Then Goes' showed those for a song called 'Go'. Enable logging for MAI to see what services it calls with what parameters. I wonder if MAI includes the album title in the query for the lyrics and if this is even supported by the lyrics server(s), because in the folder where MAI stores the lyrics there is no album info. No, I don't respect the album for lyrics. The services I know likely don't support albums either. And I'm assuming that a song's lyrics doesn't change with albums on which it's being published. I know this assumption is wrong, like any assumption around metadata and music publishing. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Qobuz.com streaming plugin
@michael, today I tried version v.2.0.0. Something seems to be broken. Plugins::Qobuz::API->getAlbum() returns less information than the same function call in version v1.6.0. I tested it with $log->error(Data::Dump::dump($album)); The missing informations are: $album->{description} $album->{copyright} $album->{label} If I go back to v1.600 these values are present. sveninndh's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=69030 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=97146 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Qobuz.com streaming plugin
Not sure if this is Qobuz specific, but based on C-3PO comments I've seen re: Qobuz and Std Inputs it may be. I have several Rpi3s running PCP which can play Qobuz streams up to 192/24 no issue. However, I can't seem to find a way to automatically downsample Qobuz HiRes streams for my legacy SB devices (Duet, Radio, Boom, SB3, etc). When I stream a HiRes title to those devices I get super choppy & corrupted music. I have tried running LMS 7.9 & 8.0 on Rpi3 and a PC with the same results. If I set Qobuz to only stream 44.1/16 it works fine but would prefer HiRes for the devices that can handle it. Is it possible to play a 192/24 Qobuz track at native format on an RP3 and also automatically downsample to a device that can only handle 48/24 like the Duet/SB3? Awesome community here btw, and special thanks to the authors/maintainers of LMS and the plugins! giles302's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=70020 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=97146 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

I didn't actually mean to say that I think this feature is important or necessary, but I just wanted to say that I don't think it should be implemented in the client. If it doesn't make sense to implement it in the plugin, as you said correctly, then it shouldn't work. But the client should not show buttons that give the user the impression that it should work. Now you can ask who is responsible for displaying the buttons, the plugin developer or the client. The huge number of Qobuz data put the Qobuz favs pretty high up on my highly appreciated features. A HLS stream without a Master playlist is not really a proper HLS stream. Since you have authoring the stream you can easily create the MAster playlist. It gives details such as which codec is being used. I can't even guess the problem since I can't play your stream and you have not provided any examples of your playlists nor any details of your system or the format / codecs used in your streams. bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=103158 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Currently I'm sending the add/play commands for each item one by one, and awaiting response before sending the next. For YouTube (which shows 200 search results) this can be pretty slow - around 8ish seconds on my laptop. Is there a way to send a batch of commands to LMS, and ensure they are executed in the correct order? (Actually, for YouTube I've re-added the hack to perform an add/play on a faked parent-id, and this executes in about a second. But the point still stands) *Material debug:* 1. Launch via http: //SERVER:9000/material/?debug=json 2. Open browser's developer tools 3. Open console tab in developer tools 4. REQ/RESP messages sent to/from LMS will be logged here. cpd73's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=66686 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109624 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
