ALL THE SAME DOMAINS - your Windows firewall allows squeeze2cast-win.exe to go through? YES, I EVEN TURNED OFF THE FIREWALL AND IT STILL DIDN'T GENERATE - your Windows is not in a VM? I must confess I have been a happy user of Squeezelite-X for a while without being aware of the possibilities in the Tray Menu as shown in several examples in post #1367 of this thread. So that post was an eye-opener for me. I have tried to setup some menu items myself, and it mostly works fine. However, when for example an "&" is part of the artist name, e.g. "Simon & Garfunkel", then Google %artist% %track% item will only look for "Simon". Is there a way to workaround this? hey philip, the chromecast configuration file isn't being generated. any ideas? on your upnp plugin, it does create the file just fine. when i tried to create an empty file, it just hung when trying to read it. thanks in advance for your help. Whilst this makes sense for a hardware player (which as its own UI), it never (to me) made sense that a control point's list of modes would change when you change player. So, for Material, you configure its list of modes independently and the same list of modes is used for all players (when browsing via Material). Hi Michael, thanks for constantly improving the SqueezeBox universe! I had used your RP plugin for a long time and always thought "maybe he will add user capabilities sometime". Great to now have the "My favourites" stream also in my home stereo, not only in my car when using the RP Android app. I have about 1.5k favourites collected over the years, so that makes a really great long playlist to randomly play. What would be a great enhancement to the plugin would be the ability to see the current song's ratings, both from the community, as well as the one I have given. The RP apps and webpage do allow that. Unfortunately not possible. Merely saying Alexa does not yet kick off anything a skill developer can act upon. Amazon reserves that for internal use. If you have the MediaServer skill and use the Stream to Echo functionality you will see that working. The moment you say Alexa to an Echo streaming from LMS, the audio is interrupted. As soon as I shout Alexa loud enough for her to recognise the living room player mutes/low vol so that I can talk to Alexa, and resumes volume after I've finished. New phone and get problem then installing SB Player. Phone is an Galaxy S20 running Android 10 and One UI 2.1 Start the app and get this 30148 Pressing that I comes here 30149 As you can see nothing about SB Player so don't know what to do, so backing out. My collection has lots of compilation albums - if I do a serch on an artist to find what tracks I have I get a list of which albums have tracks but I have to look at each album seperately to find what tracks I have which is a bit of a pain. What about Squeezelite > with alac built in? If the file does not play then the problem is more likely in LMS as it is LMS that "separates" image from audio and stream the audio. It feels like the file is not streamable and when you modify the image you have made ther file streamable. Did you try the "movflags faststart" command on the offending file with png ?
