Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Music & Artist Information plugin
This is from "Real World" by "Bruce Dickinson" I -think- this time the lyrics are coming from genius.com - if I look at the HTML from there (view-source:https://genius.com/Bruce-dickinson-real-world-lyrics) I see: Code: Youve got to fight to see it through I've seen this from chart lyrics. Unfortunately the simple decoding trick applied in the other cases doesn't work here. I think it's an encoding error on their end: instead of encoding the double byte character as one character, they send it as two characters. As this seems to be an exception, and encodings on chart lyrics usually working ok, I'd consider this a hiccup on their end. -- Michael ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotty 4.0 - integrate local library with your Spotify collection (LMS 8+)
Is problem with API not allowing for playlist folders is still present at Spotify end? Yes. I have seen old poll in favor of not implementing "dirty" workaround, just wondering if things have changed since. I don't remember having done a poll. But there indeed is a helper script which should allow you to import the structure into Spotty. What operating system is your LMS running on? Hi A couple of requests: - Would it be possible to use the mouse wheel to change the vol on the app? The Material skin is great with the extra granular vol control, but I find the mouse/trackball wheel a very handy vol control on other apps. - Have you ever considered Jivelite-style VU meters (or other 'Now Playing' style graphics)? That'd be really cool. mr-b's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10044 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=108550 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Couldn't find an easy way to only have the fade when the text is overflowing, so its always there - but you only see if the text reaches the bottom few pixels. I have noticed this for a while but I am not sure if it is intentional. The highlighted text has a graduated effect and darkens from top to bottom.[image: https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200630/ef608fd8152c5b4d60a7f217a4223219.jpg] Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk slartibartfast's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=35609 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109624 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Bug-fix release, changes: - Fix some text colours in updates page. - Remove (?) icons from plugins in information dialog, and make complete plugin title clickable. - Place cog icon next to 'My Music' text in 'Settings' dialog. - Remove shadow from emblems in lists. - Allow grid for favourites. *Material debug:* 1. [SlimDevices: Plugins] problem with popping sounds in squeezelite
I'm having trouble with squeezelite on a pi2 running max2play (server is on another pi). I have a topping d10 dac attached and am getting annoying low level popping sounds which are obtrusive on tracks with quiet background (solo piano and choral for example). I do not get this problem attaching the topping to a windows laptop runnning squeezelite-x so assume the problem lies with the squeezelite settings. sorry for the dumb quesion but what it the correct output device? Maybe permissions or wrong use of audio devices (e.g. Pulseaudio and Alsa devices mixed) What do you mean "virtual" - are the squeezlites running in separate VMs ? > so im left with a solution that is local to the record player - with a > analog line-in that can send out a stream eg mp3 via wired or wireless > ethernet that the lms server can connect to Cost is the issue. May need to be creative - cheap or 2nd hand DAC & old 2nd hand RPi1or 2 may be enough. bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=112447 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
