Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce : BBC Sounds Plugin
Excellent, great to get access to My Sounds subscriptions. One minor point, after a successful login, the menu selections are offset by one, e.g. selecting Recommended for you takes you to the My Sounds sub menu. Going back to the Apps menu and reselecting Sounds fixes it and gives the new Sign Out option. coyrls's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=44253 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=113045 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Material Skin
I like this feature, as I have a mix of my own ripped CDs, Spotify, and Qobuz albums. I think the particular service icon is supposed to overlay a blank circle? The issue I am having is noticeable in grid view: I have selected "Larger fonts and icons" in Settings. The service icon does not line up with the underlying blank "coaster" it is supposed to overlay; the icon is dropped down to the bottom edge of the underlying circle. I see this occurring in desktop and mobile displays, and in the Android APK. Additionally, would it be possible to put a vertical line on the APK slider bar, to indicate where the default zoom level is? *Living Room:* SB Touch + DIY PSU > CI Audio VDA.2 DAC + VAC.1 PSU > VRX.1 cables > Emotiva XSP-1 Gen 2 preamp + XPA-DR2 amp > Blue Jeans cables > B 804 speakers *Laptop:* System76 Galago + Ubuntu 16.04 + Squeezelite + Vivaldi/Material Skin > Emotiva Little Ego DAC > Grado PS500 headphones *Bedroom:* RPi Zero W + Squeezelite > miniBOSS DAC HAT > Bose SoundLink Revolve *Phone:* Pixel 3a + SB Player + Material APK > Senn IE80 earbuds *Server:* Puget Systems Serenity + Ubuntu 18.04 + LMS 8.0 Ron F.'s Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=5616 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109624 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

In Material using the apk, or a web browser, or SQ-L, if I go to Player Settings > Extra Settings > Additional Browse Modes > select whatever menu items, and click "save settings" this has no effect on the players "My Music" menu in Material. However, selecting the menu items in Material also changes/selects the Additional Browse Modes menu items in the Default skin where it *does* work. Just installed this plugin (on LMS8, WSE2016) and it 'does exactly what it says on the package', including the latest update with the BBC sign-in. I always have all players synched, so the interface where it gives the player name there doesn't really make any sense (all players play the same anyway...) The only reason I sometimes switch players in the interface is to change the volume in another room. That can also be achieved through the "Manage players" menu, but that's all the way at the bottom of the list of players.. So for me it would make much more sense if, in stead of having a player dropdown there, it would simply be a button to go to the "manage players" screen. (to accommodate other use cases you could still have the name of the active player there, but in stead of the dropdown list you would change the active player through the "manage players" menu) Curious what you think. jeroen2's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=70418 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109624 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Qobuz.com streaming plugin
I have selected as favorite in Qobuz an album with 960 tracks. (42 discs) https://open.qobuz.com/album/0886445221237 When I look into this album in LMS is see only 510 tracks. It seems that only 510 tracks are imported into the LMS library. Is this a technical limitation? Can the number of tracks to be imported be increased? You can consider it a technical limitation. The code simply isn't prepared to deal with albums of that size... As we only get 50 tracks per response, getting 1000 requires doing 20 requests. Therefore I capped the number - too low obviously... -- Michael ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Tidal App not appearing in My Apps, and won't play queued songs.
Tried again this morning, but still can't get the Tidal plug-in to work. I tried to play a playlist, first directly from a Touch, then from the browser interface on my computer. In both cases Tidal jumped from track to track, and the log showed a subscribe/unsubscribe error for each track. I tried unsubscribe/subscribe again, as well as uninstall/install. Made no difference. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce : BBC Sounds Plugin
This new release includes access to "My Sounds" and associated personalised content Follow the following process to sign in : - Add your BBC Account credentials in the BBC Sounds Settings page on LMS : 31883 - Select "Sign In" from the plugin menu. This will trigger the plugin to retrieve a ID token that it will use to sign into a session from then on, it will be valid for a couple of years. I would advise you to then delete your username and password from the LMS settings as they are no longer needed or used(its good to not leave passwords lying around :) ). - You will then be able to access all the personalised content including "My Sounds" etc.. Obviously, you would have had to subscribe, bookmark etc on the BBC sounds website or app This is all still a bit experimental, and definitely still a beta, please let me know how it is working for you. Next release I hope to be able to provide access to subscribing and bookmarking from within the plugin. +---+ |Filename: Screenshot 2020-10-18 at 14.21.33.png| |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=31883| +---+ expectingtofly's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=63263 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=113045 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Squeezelite-X
I've attached a debug log. This shows two occasions that SLX successfully picked the right player (A Sql PC) on a resume from sleep, and the final time it failed and picked Garage again. The difference with the final one is that I had selected the "mini browser", which is how I normally use it. The first two times it was using the larger display. So is it possible that the mini browser mode is doing something different ? That might explain why I'm seeing the issue and you're not, if you don't use the mini browser. 31882 +---+ |Filename: SlxLog.txt | |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=31882| +---+ tw99's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=51684 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=108550 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
