Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce Planet Radio / Bauer Media plugin - PlanetRock, Absolute, Kiss, Scala ++
You should be able to get the URL that is being played. Easiest way is to use Default skin on desktop and click on the item in left pane and then try it using a different player (eg mplayer). You can also take the "s" off to make it http rather than https and try to play it as a URL via LMS UI Paul Webster http://dabdig.blogspot.com author of \"now playing\" plugins covering radio france (fip etc), planetradio (bauer - kiss, absolute, scala, jazzfm etc), kcrw, supla finland, abc australia, cbc/radio-canada and rte ireland Paul Webster's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=105 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=114252 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

I've submitted a PR I apologize for my impatience, Philippe. ;-) Thanks for the clear explanation and LMS pull request. On a related LMS muting matter, could you please take a look at this 'issue' (https://github.com/Logitech/slimserver/discussions/558) that I opened a couple of weeks ago regarding the behavior of a muted player upon receiving an incremental volume change? Michael closed it and moved it to the discussions with a counter-argument that I find not at all convincing. I plan on pursuing it further in the forum at some point but I would appreciate your opinion on it if you have the time. I have recently taken on a co-developer role on the "Denon AVP/AVR Control" LMS plugin and have added hardware mute/unmute support for the AVR based on CLI "mixer muting" callback commands but the (in my opinion, counter-intuitive) behavior described in the discussion unnecessarily complicates things for me, as I imagine it would in your plugins also. Thanks again. Or is PiCorePlayer smart enough to load 64 bit or 32 Bit based on the Hardware you are running? Also, is there a way to look at the PiCorePlayer Menu and tell whether you are running 32 or 64 Bit? Thanks for the input. I forgot to mention that i tried to create a folder at the same level as my shared folder (fælles) and LMS can't find that either, so actually I don't think it is related to the naming of the shared folder. I have downgraded Perl and installed the 8.0 package instead of getting docker to work, which works perfectly without changing anything, but I would like to use the docker version as it sounds to be a more future-save way, when DSM 7 will be mandatory. In my Docker-testing i have uninstalled the "normal" LMS package. [SlimDevices: Plugins] LastMix Plugin and Squeezelite v1.9.9-1372-pCP Player Not Working
Hi I have installed the LastMix Plugin and have it set to "LastMix - Don't Stop The Music support using Last.fm." on all of my players. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce Planet Radio / Bauer Media plugin - PlanetRock, Absolute, Kiss, Scala ++
I have released version 0.0.2 - it is near enough the same as 0.0.2f but with the removal of the hack of https to http for "boxsets". So if you find that boxsets are not playing and your LMS is on pCP then install the updated pcp-ffmpeg extension that came out today because it enables support for https for the M4A streams that they use. There are still some issue but resolving them will take more time than I can give it for a while. Issues: - artwork not shown when boxset item is playing - contents of boxsets not seekable (might be with LMS 8.2 but I have not tried) Note: Not all stations have podcasts or boxsets. However, if you know that one does (via their app or web site) and it does not appear in the plugin then let me know. This does not include access to on demand programmes except via the schedule or podcast menu item. I might be able to change this in the future to provide an index by show name but not really possible at the moment because I get the list of programmes by station and I'm not going to query 100+ stations in the background every few minutes. Version 0.0.2 - Add access to On Demand (scheduled) content including podcasts and boxsets - Improve handling of DST by using worldtimeapi.org service The update should appear in the official list of unofficial plugins over the next few hours. This might be the same problem as it was with the mixcloud plugin, Phillipe44 just fixed that one, that stream is also mp4. and it also stopped at around 20/30 mins...Yeah definitely sounds like same problem.. I wonder if Philippe fixed it on" plugin or LMS level " which could resolve issue on all plugins. Will check other thread later, thanks I just merged a change Philippe provided which would hopefully address this issue. Get the next 8.2 build (must be built today or later), then go to Settings/Advanced/Performance and allow LMS to cache online streams to disk. This should deal with the kind of issues where the remote server doesn't like the slow streaming type download as a SB typically would do. ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

This might be the same problem as it was with the mixcloud plugin, Phillipe44 just fixed that one, that stream is also mp4. and it also stopped at around 20/30 mins... cortegedusage's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=69028 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=114305 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Mixcloud provide URLs specifically to stream programs both live and non-live. The chosen HLS format is using a newish option - fMP4 (fragmented MPEG-4). I am updating the playHLSv2 (no ffmpeg) plugin to support this HLS/fMP4. This is generic plugin as the HLS format is used by many broadcasters, it needs to satisfy more than just the Mixcloud needs so take it is taking a bit longer to complete. When complete, the Mixcloud plugin would need to be updated to support to use the HLS URLs. I am not sure whether the current plugin supports finding the URLs for live streams. The change to https by many stations and services has required LMS and many users to upgrade system as shortcoming were exposed. Support for LMS under Windows is a bit harder as the Perl is version is stuck at 5.14 because support for the particular product used by LMS has ended and the Perl vendor no longer updates the libraries. So some libraries are getting a bit out of date and so other issues may appear from time to time. Ralphy has been good at updating these libraries so far. The number of developers on LMS plugin and core is still quite small and their free time is finite. Orphan plugins are the hardest to deal with as devoting time to fix them means less time to deal with other LMS issues and the prospect of later calls for support. Philippe has been exceptional in his efforts ( and courage) in adding much needed code adding required modern features (e.g MP4, https, http 1.1, SqueezeAMP, numerous bridges etc.) to LMS core. If anybody wishes to help & learn to add/fix code to LMS and/or plugins - you will be supported as the pool of developers has to be increased otherwise LMS may stagnate. bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=88286 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

staresy wrote: > Indeed that works:D:D:D:D:D Excellent work. > > Thanks cortegedusage, bpa and philippe for bearing with me on this, much > appreciated. > > Phillipe, in laymans terms, what was the issue and the fix? Windows version of LMS has an issue with certificate which might be disabled. MixCloud uses an HTTP packaged named LWP which should also have certificates disabled but what is done inside LMS does not seem to disable them and I've not been able to figure out why. Anyhow, the use of LWP is bad because it blocks LMS for a very long while, so I've decided to refactor a fair bit the plugin to get rid of LWP. This is included here As @bpa said, I think there is more to do, including handling HLS files as obviously dmixcloud indicates that it's also an available format, and this would probably solve the issue of some files not playing, but that's beyond my objectives.
