I just tried to set this up and failed, for I think similar reasons to the above. I sorted the API and initial credentials/secret, all input into the plugin ok. It appears that the next step is to click the "get code" box, but this does nothing. Looking at the log file, it shows that a URL was unauthorized, but I don't know what the URL is. The server is a pi, and I'm accessing the settings from a Ubuntu PC that is logged into the relevant Google account. Do I need to log into the Google account from the pi to sort this? As an aside, it would be great if this worked with multiple YouTube accounts, so the kids could each access their own accounts on their own Squeezeboxes. When working in this way, the top track list (and others) are played correctly. It seems, it uses for folder name the tag "artist". Like this Folder: \Artist - Albumname\Nr. That is the difference then. I was scrolling down to "Browse on Spotify" at the bottom of the list of albums after selecting an artist. Try that Ok, confirmed. But basically for the "Top Tracks" only, right? Other items would play. I am not sure what you mean by context menu in Squeezeplay. I don't see any context menus with Squeezeplay. Just normal menu lists. Touch and hold an item. How else would you bring up the menu with "On Spotify"? You seem to be doing the same as me so what can I log to find the issue? It doesn't work for @jotap_66 either. control.command might give some hint as to what parameters the client is sending to LMS. I am a little confused that Michael said it worked for him as I tried on two different systems, Windows and Raspberry Pi and neither one worked. Just to confirm I'm not missing something: - started LMS 8.3 - fired up Squeezeplay 8.0.1 r1360 - set "Defeat destructive Touch-To-Play" for this player to "Always ask..." - on SP navigated to My Music, some artist, brought up his context menu - selected "On Spotify" -> "Top Titles" -> some track - I was asked what to do - no matter whether I said "play" or "add to playlist" or whatever, it always did what I expected it to do I tried this with artists I've imported from Spotify and others I haven't. In the latter case there were some in between screens (as Spotty would do a text search), but it worked 100%.
