Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] InguzEQ and Tidal Flac stream
For the File Types rule FLAC>PCM, is one of the drop-down options "FLAC/InguzDSP"? If so, try it. If not or no change, it will probably be a matter of editing the custom-convert.conf file that governs TIDAL. Hopefully, someone else who uses TIDAL will chime in with direction. I'd start by looking in the "TIDAL" plugin folder(s). Note that -any- DSP will break MQA so don't expect that to work. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] InguzEQ and Tidal Flac stream
I don't have Tidal, so can't help out with the detail - are you using Tidal to stream MQA to the DAC? If so I don't think Inguz is going to work as it needs the source decoded to wav. I got Qobuz working, because it streams as Flac and can be unpacked to wav format. If you can set Tidal to stream as another format initially you may have some joy, it would then be a case of working out how to convert the native Tidal format to a wav file and configuring that into the conversion stream. I found that C3PO was useful to get to that point. foxesden's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=56286 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=115796 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

By the way, F11 is the shortcut key for FullScreen. I guess I never mentioned that, but it is in the help. I agree the connection to Material's Now Playing view is a little strange. But it is the only way available to get out of full screen via touch/no keyboard. Yah, I saw that w.r.t. "mobile layout" and full screen. I intentionally decided to leave it that way, thinking clever people (like you) might like that. I could probably inject some JavaScript to provide other alternatives, so I will experiment with that. In general, I don't like having double-clicks or long presses as the only way to do something, but I am not opposed to them as alternatives. Yes, that is one current drawback I intend to remedy. SLX will remember FullScreen and NowPlaying for previous when it starts up. But since you have exit NowPlaying to get the titlebar in order to exit the app, then it is hard/impossible to exit the app in NowPlaying so that it will remember that. I'll need to add back the option "Always Start Material in NowPlaying" that I used to have before I started remembering it. Yes, intend to add back that option. schmurtz, Thanks for the feedback and taking the time. Feedback is so essential to keep making this thing better. I appreciate it. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Radio Now Playing plugin
Paul, Firstly, thanks for your ongoing development of this plugin, very useful. Is it possible to add a global tick box in the settings that just displays the highest quality radio feeds? I know you can filter with a text string (eg. flac, flc, aac, aac-high etc), but there is a big range of possibilities and no consistency across the providers (as obviously they are coming from many diverse sources and present in various formats). I just wondered if you could "automate" the filtering within in the plugin? The reason I ask is that I had set it up using the text string filter option but a recent server crash necessitated a server rebuild and I hadn't noted down this setting, and now I can't remember what I had set! Not critical, just a thought. There is no Swedish for Alexa so shes fine with UK English for Sweden (in the EU, the UK store is default for all unsupported languages. Amazon never thought Brexit would actually happen). It should just work. Or has Amazon decided to link the Swedish store to Germany? Anyway, a workaround is to temporarily set your Amazon store account for digital content to .co.ik for locale en-GB. Release 1.2.0 Includes: NEW FEATURES : - A Radio Favourites folder can not be set as a standard LMS favourite (requires LMS 8.2.0 or later). This enables you to have your LMS favourites all in one place, if you prefer. - There is now a Radio Favourites Editor in the settings. This allows you to more easily manage your radio favourites, you can : - Edit the station name - Set the folder - Delete the favourite - Delete a folder 36980 - There is now the concept of the "Custom URL", if you have another url for a station that you prefer to the one provided by the plugin (e.g. it has a higher bitrate) then you can set that in the preferences. This enables you to have the benefit of the programme information but play the audio from your preferred url. (thank you @staresy for the suggested feature). - You can now explicitly set a station to be in the top level of the plugins menu out of a folder. See the 'readme' (https://github.com/expectingtofly/LMS_Radio_Favourites_Plugin#readme) for full details. You're right. DPL asks for playlist parameter input when you start a dynamic playlist and the parameters don't know about each other. For your use case I recommend this: DPL does actually check if there's an *active library view/virtual library set for the player* that's starting the dynamic playlist (it's client-specific). So set the virtual library with all your classical music as the active library view/virtual library for your player and then adapt your dynamic playlist or maybe try this one: Code: -- PlaylistName:Rated songs in classical genre -- PlaylistGroups:Random/For selected -- PlaylistLimitOption:unlimited -- PlaylistParameter1:multiplegenres:Select genres: select tracks.url from tracks join library_track on library_track.track = tracks.id and library_track.library = 'PlaylistCurrentVirtualLibraryForClient' join genre_track on genre_track.track = tracks.id and genre_track.genre in ('PlaylistParameter1') join tracks_persistent on tracks_persistent.urlmd5 = tracks.urlmd5 left join dynamicplaylist_history on tracks.id=dynamicplaylist_history.id and dynamicplaylist_history.client='PlaylistPlayer' where audio=1 and tracks_persistent.rating>=70 and dynamicplaylist_history.id is null group by tracks.id order by random() limit 100; Please note that this dynamic playlist will not work if you haven't set a library view/virtual library for your player. Your own playlist example calls random() 2 times. No need: just lose the -PlaylistTrackOrder- parameter (that's for when you don't want any randomization at all: listening to complete albums, movements...) and DPL will add extra randomization. PasTim wrote: > Yes, just the one purpose. I just populate it using SQL, copying the > numbers from the library prefs. ... and somehow use that in my Custom > Browse menus. So I don't know how exactly you use your virtual libraries table with CustomBrowse. But since you're obviously comfortable with SQLite I remembered that I once had a small plugin that used custom SQLite definitions to create virtual libraries. It kind of was the predecessor of the more specific UseCommentTagInfo plugin. I've found a copy of '*SQLiteVirtualLibraries*' (https://github.com/AF-1/lms-sqlitevirtuallibraries) in my backups and uploaded it to GitHub.
