I updated to 4.8.1 with the fallback option, and everything seems to be
fine again. I have played 5 songs without hickups.

I had deleted the spotty plug-in. When I was trying to use spotty on my
Home stereo, It was useless, as it immidiately started
Is "LastMix" = "SongMix"? If not can you point me to location. I do
not see the LastMix option?
LastMix is another plugin of mine which uses Last.fm to create mixes.
You won't need to do anything about Last.fm. The playback would use your
subscribed online service(s), eg. Qobuz, and local

Ok, I went to my C:\ProgramData\Squeezebox\Cache\spotty.db and I deleted
the Spotty.db entry only? Is that what you mean?
Shut down LMS, delete that file (plus spotty.db.* etc. if they exist),
restart LMS.

New iPeng user since yesterday. Need some help in setting the software

Spotty fails to install using (Win 10) Upland Ca.
Yesterday, I was playing music as usual(using the SPOTTY App). The
music stopped and when I went to restart the music the SPOTTY app had
disappeared(No longer under MY APPS). Checked the Web Remote Control
Interface of LMS Server
I use Max2play on a Raspberry Pi.
I've released v4.8.1 which has a new option to "use Spotify Fallback AP"
(Settings/Advanced/Spotty -> bottom). Could you please try this with the
other workarounds disabled? Would that help the playback issue?

Bad news re socketwrapper log. Something has changed since I last
debugged socketwrapper ( a few years ago) not sure if it is a Win10 or
an LMS change but the socketwrapper output is now a separate window and
one which disappears when socketwrapper ends so no chance of finding out
why it

310601096 (it is an hour long track, after all).
