I'm also a happy user of the Qobuz Streaming service, currently on the
Full-FLAC subscription. Searching is way better than with Wimp, but
there is still plenty of room for improvement. I'd also love a way to
sort the search results, but even the aforementioned basic sorting by

in a track. This works on other streaming services. Is this a known
problem (and fixable) or is it something to do with my setup?

Sorry to complain, but could you put in a little on/off switch for now?
My Raspberry Pi is taking a long time searching now, and the results
don't really seem any better than before, just different, so I'd like to
turn the new algorithm off for now to make Qobuz more useable...

If I enter a search term in Triodes Spotify app on my LMS then I get a
pretty accurate list of results.

I just got home from work and can second the above statement. The Plugin

Also, same about the Squeezebox/LMS thing. Logitech threw away some
great technology here, but at least they made it Open Source. The also
allow UE Radio users to downgrade to squeezebox

This is weird...my Logitech Media Server running on a Raspberry Pi
(Squeezeplug) automatically installed the 2.3 Alpha of your Plugin and
now refuses to work.
Selft-test fails (helper app not running) and control app times out on
searching...

Hi Michael,
you added support for Wimp, but it is broken. As soon as I activate Wimp
as a source the Plugin refuses to work. If I remove Wimp and leave just
Spotify it works fine. I just created a test playlist and it appears OK,
so something is wrong with your Wimp implementation.

now.The selection it gives me is not bad, but it tends to play quite a
few very old recordings and music for babies and similar stuff.

I had the same problem. It resolved itself after I created a mix-recipe
with Spotify, then switched over to Wimp again. It continues working

I've been doing a lot of comparisons between Qobuz, Wimp Hifi and
Spotify Premium these last few months...and I have always been forced to
return to Spotify since the other services just don't have the kind of
stability and reliability I want.

It works for me. I'm currently evaluating this as an alternative to
Spotify. Works fine on my PiCorePlayer and Squeezeplug.
How is multi-device playback handled? My PiCorePlayer is not registered
as one of my 10 devices, it uses the same ID as my phone...what are the
consequences of that?

Yesterday my LMS 7.9 running on ab Odroie U3 with Squeezeplug 7
auto-updated the Spotify Plugin. Now I can't use it anymore. Self Test
says Helper app failed. I can safely say that it is not a Noton
problem...;)
I'll look at the logs later today.
Fixed it. Removed the addon and reinstalled it. Now it works again.

It's a realy pity that sound quality is not as good as Spotify. Using it
on more than one device at the same time is very useful and does not
work with the current Spotify plugin...

I just found that the Custom Radio functionality works very well
indeed. Is there any chance at all of getting that working directly from
inside the LMS interface/Android apps? I currently have to start the
Google Play Music app, create it there and then select it in the LMS

I updated to your 1.01 release yesterday and like the new features.
Sadly it seems the webinterface is still buggy, at least on Chrome
browser, it installed LMS 7.7.0 when I chose latest 7.9.0 nightly.

I had some issues with Google Play Music tracks having short distortion
at the beginning of the track so I looked into your squeezelite
parameters and have some suggestions...
First of all, I'd always suggest using the hw parameter instead of

I played around with the settings for a bit and realized, that I had
some things mixed up during testing:
The Odroid built-in audio needs some adjustments to the alsa buffer,
otherwise there are noticeable pops during playback, both in webradio

Mysqueezebox.com apps like Deezer and Wimp.
Hi. The apps all work perfectly... If I select them via webinterface
theyplay fine, and they work on my other players roght ftom the remote
control apps.
It's as if they just don't get picked up by the remote control apps when
they connected to the server-player.

I managed to find and download the 0.4 branch of this Plugin, but
somehow can't install it. I've never manually installed a Plugin before,
so it's surely my faut.
I extracted the .zip and copied the GoogleMusic folder to
/var/lib/squeezeboxserver/Plugins

I think the guys at ickstream are working on mysqueezebox free plugins
for LMS, and they have Deezer on the Agenda. I do not know how their
implementation would work, but it's apparently going to be coming soon.

Well, I use Squeeze Control, anr it works fine with the Google Music
Plugin. Best way to try it out is to use the LMS webinterface directly.
If it works there, then the Plugin is fine.
I used Squeeze Cimmander for quite a while, but I stopped using it some
time back, because it had problems
Squeeze Commander hasn't been updated since 2011, so it's no longer
fully compatible with all the latest LMS features. Use Squeeze Control
or Orange Squeeze and it'll work.

I'm currently experimenting with Qobuz and SmartMix again. Right now I'm
trying to look at the other side of the equation, reading the log Qobuz
generates. Sadly it very quickly generates more than 1000 lines of log
and the initial query gets cut off which makes this a bit difficult.

Just a small addendum to my previous post:
It appears to be a problem between SmartMix and Qobuz (your Plugin). If
I add Deezer, Google Play Music or Spotify to the list of services, then
it plays. It doesn't add tracks from Qobuz though. Can you check why?

I'm cross with myself, because I can't figure this out on my own.
So, why is it, that if I let SmartMix search for tracks, then grab the
track and throw it at the Qobuz Plugin search engine I get useful
results, and when the SmartMix Plugin does it it fails???

Just an idea: Would it be possible for your SmartMix Plugin to filter
the results it gets from TEN to be less precise? Currently, it seems
that classical albums/tracks have too much detail, and finding an exact
match might just be too much to ask on Qobuz...
