I own a squeezebox duet for many years now, but I recently discovered
this plugin. I have been able to setup the plugin and I'm able to use
it. But it seems that this plugin only mixes a small amount of my
library. It uses only artist starting with a number
I deinstalled 7.73 and installed 7.80. Same issue again:

I managed to get rid of the errors in the log by retagging the files.
After tagging the doors I rescanned again. Then I got Oasis as the
culprit. And after that one came Justin Timberlake. But all is sorted

I'm trying to create a recipe with 90's music only. So if I enter '90's'
in description, I get 90's music, but it seems limited to rock music. I
also want it to play some 90's house and anything else from the 90's.
Also changing 'artist start and end year' doesn't deliver the desired
end result.

You have to go to the blender and select genre list. If you go all the
way down in that list, my last selectable entry is peruvian rock. But
there should be more of course. See attached screenshot.

I have a weird issue. I cannot select other genres after: Peruvian rock.
So every genre before this one (alphabetical order) is selectable, but
for example rock or pop isn't selectable anymore. Anyone else having
this issue? Michael?

Mediaportal is also using lastfm as a mixer. Works quite well. Just add
a track and it will find similar songs. Even if you mix two songs from
separate genres it will mix them too.

setup on my windows 7 server. So musicip headless is running and I use
the musicip mixer to fingerprint my music. One third is already

What is happening, smart Mix is going to end? This can't be true. It is

I managed to get a python code which does the job.
This will save a mood list created by musicip to the music folder. Which
then can be used by LMS.
Last step is figuring out how to play this on my squeezebox by command
line.

With the size command I can adjust the results being shown. But the
limit is 75. Same as the windows musicip mixer.

So, to put it simple. You want your car radio to control LMS.
I did try this some time ago and it should work if I remember correctly.
I use squeeze CTRL and squeezeplayer. Both are setup to connect to my
server through the internet using my 'real' ip address.
I could try this again next week,
I like that app a lot more than orange squeeze.

And to clarify, I can't select Musicip mix in albums or songs either.
But I have to find some time to implement the moods and recipes. Maybe
that fixes the issue.

Added the restart of LMS and rebooted the Pi. And now everything works!

The Musicip import is working untill the Pi seems to crash after 6711
imported tracks. The little read/write light continuesly burns orange.
CPU looks like it is idle when I use top. Cannot acces musicip on the
website and LMS is also not reachable. Putty is also unable to login.

One weird thing though. If I create a mix of a say, an artist, it takes
a little while before the created mix gets displayed, and 2 seconds
later it will display even another mix. This only happens in the app
squeeze CTRL and not in LMS webview.

Running into 1 last issue:
When I do the crontab -e and try to stop/start musicip, it doesn't load
the database.
I use this command: sudo -u osmc qemu-i386
/home/osmc/MusicIP/MusicMagicMixer/MusicMagicServer start
