I still think we have some wires crossed somewhere, since you are not

Have we reached a point where a new thread would help? We have:
1) bpa's plugin which creates 3 custom files
2) a menu.opml replacement for bbc iplayer live
3) many people providing ffmpeg solutions for various platforms, and an
extra bpa plugin for those with ffmpeg issues where it doesn't stop

You have to install minimserver, then minimstreamer is a plugin add-on.

I think we have to assume Triode may not be back any time soon, if at
all. It would anyway be unwise to expect someone who has given enormous
amounts of his time to our collective benefit being willing to continue
doing so forever. Why should he (or indeed she)?
So the question becomes how can

about get_iplayer or the BBCiPlayer plugin? Surely they should just
make very clear what the rules are, and let people get on with it. My
understanding

But that's my point. Broadc
I've been using squeeze2upnp with the new PlayHLS plugin for BBCiPlayer.
It works very well both for live listening and with the current (RTMP)
listen again service, on both my UPnP renderers. So when the FM signal
is bad (which happens periodically) or the DAB signal is bad (which is

When I tried the same proof of concept I didn't get ', hls' being
