In the absence of a new release, would anyone be willing to please point
me at the apk file for the older release?
Why was it removed from Market?
Am desperate to get hold of it :)
thanks much...

sigh; thank you very much indeed.
Blasted Market Search isn't very good: searching for squeeze doesn't
find it, have to search for squeezecontrol.
installing now, thanks again :)

re Firefox: using the latest nightly build [Firefox Aurora 21.0a2
(2013-03-05)] it seems to work quite well.
The main thing I notice is that the device selection power/repeat
buttons only show properly when the browser is fullscreen; otherwise
they don't get drawn correctly.

Is it really related to fullscreen, or does it depend on the width of
the browser window? If the latter, then it also happens in other
browsers and seems to be an issue with the underlying web

For what it's worth, on my Debian Linux system, you unzip the Plugin.zip
file to get the Plugin.pm, and then put it in:

You should be able to instead just copy the file in directly via

One question, please: is there any way to clear a playlist? I can see
how to remove one song at a time, but if I want to clear and start from

One tiny niggle to report...
When I stream a radio station [http://www.radioswissjazz.ch/live/mp3.m3u
in this case] the app doesn't immediately show the details, .e.
artist/title/cover-art, for the current song.
I have to refresh the screen before this info appears. e.g. if I
rotate the device,
be nice if I could have them sorted in Year order; is this possible? Or
does that require a config plugin to come in 1.1?
thanks again; I was able to buy an iPodTouch iPeng, for my SB
Receiver, for less than an SB Controller, and it's so much better :)

I think the fact that it's now free to existing Prime subscribers makes
it much more interesting.
I suppose one could use a waveinput style plugin to access it on the
PC, and then make it available via LMS, possibly?
Would be nice to have direct access, though.
Thanks, I've been wondering this, too.
I got Deezer Elite a few days ago (via Ickstream), precisely because of
the half-price offer.
I know Tidal do a discount for buying 6 months in advance, but it's
still considerably more than Deezer Elite.
The one issue I find with these large catalogues,
thanks Michael!
possibly dumb question: I run LMS on my Linux server, so how do I get
the docset to Dash on my Mac lappie?
does the plugin dump the docset in a file somewhere I then copy to the
Mac?
I will try it tomorrow - perhaps it will be obvious :)
thanks...

Tidal might be better here, as you say: a recent blog of theirs has a

great, thanks Michael - am new to Dash - well new to doing anything with
it other than reading the standard docsets...
thanks again.

Are you sure it's not 30 seconds?
I believe Deezer reverts to only playing 30 seconds of music if it
thinks you are not registered?

It definitely should work. I just recently registered for Deezer Elite,
accessed on LMS 7.9 (linux server) via Ickstream.
Other than -very- occasional skipping to the next track (and after
several minutes of the track), it is working well.
Another alternative: if you use a local LMS server, and it runs on a
computer with a firewall, you could have something insert/remove
firewall rules corresponding to those players, at the relevant times.
e.g. on a Linux LMS server you could do this with cron.
I'd like to see this too, please.
However, one possible alternative: many routers (especially wireless)
offer similar controls, which would have the same effect.

Is it supposed to display the name of the player? I thought that I read

Ah. This is embarrassing :)
Actually, it doesn't do that if you've only played tracks on /one/
player since installing the plugin: it just goes
I just updated an Ickstream forum thread about Deezer skipping to the
next track, which seems to have returned for me.
Assuming that might be a bug, where is best to report it? There's little
activity on that forum

hi, sorry if this is an obvious question: is there any way to get the

rather than the current "track number. ", please?

it hard to work out where I am in
