Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Recording internet radio
It probably won't help you, but all this works just fine under linux. I have scripts that use mplayer dumpstream and kill mplayer after a set time. I do run a simple program after to find the first valid mp3 frame and throw away everything before it, but I don't know that that is necessary. For streams that cause trouble (usually non-mp3) I dump to wave and then lame the wave back to mp3. You need to tell lame what kind of stream it is because there is no wave header. -- Millwood 2 SB3, 1 Duet Debian Lenny server 2 AP (netgear, linksys) wireless network. I can't figure out how to get my SB3 display the way I want it. Either I'm missing something or I'd love an enhancement. Basically, I'd like the top line to behave like the controller progress line. When I navigate to a listen again place I get a screen in which the normal stuff is covered with text. It's as if some piece of text has gotten very long and is overlaying the display. I want to make sure I'm clear. I don't want a progress bar - I just want time as a number to the right. Of course you can't display a progress bar in huge mode - and your code, as I've read it in past versions, recognizes that and refuses to try. -- Millwood Millwood's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3600 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=27983 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
[SlimDevices: Plugins] Re: [Announce] MusicInfoSCR 2.99
I'm just trying to display playtime to the right, title to the left. It works fine in 2991 and all previous ones I've used. But in 2992, instead of the time, I see a progress bar filling the screen. -- Millwood Millwood's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3600 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=27983 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
[SlimDevices: Plugins] Re: [Announce] MusicInfoSCR 2.99
2992 breaks one line playtime. It tries to display a progress bar, filling the whole screen. I changed line 109 in Info.pm to && (Slim::Player::Source::playmode($client) =~ /(play|pause)/))); which seems to do the trick. IMHO, you may as well display the songtime rather than 0 in stop state. -- Millwood Millwood's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3600 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=27983 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
[SlimDevices: Plugins] Re: [Announce] MusicInfoSCR 2.99
I love the integration with now playing. I use MusicInfoSCR to get playtime displayed in one line (huge size) mode on my SB3. I used to have to wait for the timeout, now I can press now playing. But something has changed. I display playtime, or in two line mode playtime_progress. When I pause a clip, the time switches from elapsed to the size of the clip - or to zero if its a live stream. I assume/hope this is a bug, not a feature. Again - thanks for his plugin. -- Millwood Millwood's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3600 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=27983 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins

[SlimDevices: Plugins] Re: MusicInfo Large Size Problem
In single line mode, the position information disappears when paused. As I said above, my use is - pause - do something - then manually restart at the paused offset. So its nice to have the position displayed when paused in single line mode. I'm sorry I'm too ignorant to hack this myself. I tried skipping the pause/stop stuff in single line mode but that did nothing. -- Millwood Millwood's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3600 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=21994 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
[SlimDevices: Plugins] Re: MusicInfo Large Size Problem
Thanks - thats it exactly. Just to tell you why I need this. AlienBBC doesn't know how to pause - it restarts clips at the beginning. So you have to take note of the position and then skip forward. [SlimDevices: Plugins] MusicInfo Large Size Problem
I want my large size screen server to be the title to the left and elapsed time to the right. I specify title for left and playtime for right.
