Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Radio Now Playing plugin
Hi there, Great plugin, thank you for it. Last week somewhere, I noticed the station picture of the vrt radio station Klara changed. it was kinda offcenter in Material, but also on my touch. Not really a big deal, but I thought it was worth mentioning. 38852 Cheers Dennis +---+ |Filename: Screenshot_20221009-220039.png | |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=38852| +---+ cortegedusage's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=69028 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=115201 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Mixcloud plugin?
Hi David, You might want to try and go to serversettings ---> network and there enable "persistent mode" or "cache http(s) streams on disk". This forces LMS to try again, or download the whole file. That said, the mixcloud plugin and the way it depends on a third party mixcloud download site, isn't that stable, I still have issues that some streams it won't play. but caching seams to be the best way. cheers dennis DavidBulluss wrote: > Hi Paul. [SlimDevices: Plugins] What songs does Online Music Library Integration import
Am I right to assume that the online music library integration does not import songs from a playlist? I was hoping for this when I upgraded LMS at work so me and my co workers could play random from all of our playlists. but this seems not to be the case. Would this be possible? Cheers! I don't think so, the streaming comes directly from Mixcloud dlmixcloud has nothing to do with that, The only thing it does (as far as I understand it) is decoding a file it gets from mixcloud and getting the url out of it. when looking at the code from the mixcloud for kodi it looks like its decoding a json file. Hi Philippe, thanks for looking in to this, I've been using this plugin off and on for some time now (when it works). and the early playback stop is something that has come up before. I don't think the mixcloud model is to download it as a whole before playback. if you download the stream with wget, you see a download burst at first and then the download will be throttled. as for the early stop, it has come up in this thread earlier, but without a real solution, maybe you can provide a solution. For the touch and the radio there is no need for converting as they can play it native. the Transporter or the receiver cannot, so for them there is need for the conversion. For some reason the command line using faad (whatever that may be) does not work with the stream presented by the mixcloud plugin. FFmpeg can handle this, so that's why you need ffmpeg for conversion. That said, for me the plugin works unreliable, most of the streams stopping after 20 min. I thought I had it fixed, but it stays unreliable. @bpa I don't know if the plugin is presented in 8.1 I had already installed it before I did an upgrade to 8.1. So not sure if that's a bug. cortegedusage's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=69028 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=88286 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Ok, and you have file types for mpeg-4 set to native? I'm running lms 8.1 on a raspberry pi. and with this setting I can play to a singel player either touch/radio or pcp. If I want to play to a group I have to enable the playmp4 plugin and install ffmpeg then I can play to groups. cortegedusage's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=69028 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=88286 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

I should note that although at first it seem to work, occasionaly it also stopped working just like that. I hope this information is usefull for you and you are able to listen to some good tunes on mixcloud. Stay Swingin' and Stay Healthy (at this moment I'm 40 minutes into a mixcloud track so it might just work) cortegedusage's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=69028 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=88286 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Mixcloud plugin?
Everytime I tried the plugin I couldn't get it to work properly, streams mostly stopped around 10-20 minutes. But now I seemed to have found a solution, thought I'd put it here for anyone who might be interested. Apart from the mixcloud plugin i've also installed the playmp4 plugin from bpa and ffmpeg by hand. then in filetypes mpeg4 I disabled AAC and FLAC for MPEG4 playback and then enabled PCM so ffmpeg decodes to pcm, from then on I can play mixcloud tracks to the end. I'm not sure what's going on there, but I think the decoding changes something in the stream, or ffmpeg downloads the whole stream at once, anyhowI will keep playing mixcloud tracks and see if it works on all tracks. But for now I'm one happy camper. On a sidenote I should mention that it starts kindof slow, and that playing two mixcloud streams after each other doesn't seem to work so well. This is on a PI4 running dietpi... Cheers! Hi Michael, Is it just me or do you have to login after a restart of the server. Just restarted the server twice (pcp on a pi3) and had to login again both times. if it's just me, i'll live with it for as long as it lasts. I'm about to move everything to a pi4 so have to reinstall everything again anyhow, great job! ahhh, sounds a bit tricky. ah well i'll stick to the spotify connect function on the last.fm site... doesn't work that well for me... Or is there anyway I can paste the spotify url's in LMS I can add them one by one, but that's quite some work. Is there a way I can paste them all in one? [SlimDevices: Plugins] last mix adjustment so it can play user recommendations.
Hi there, Would it be possible to adjust the lastmix plugin so that it will play last.fm recommandations. i've searched and found that: library https://www.last.fm/player/station/user/{username}/library mix https://www.last.fm/player/station/user/{username}/mix recommendations https://www.last.fm/player/station/user/{username}/recommended and indeed the last one gives me a list of numbers including the spotify ID. It would be nice to have these options, as it is a way to discover new music for me. If it is something I can adjust myself, I'll gladly do it. I'm no coder but not afraid of the command line... greetings Dennis van Paassen cortegedusage's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=69028 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=111641 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Hi Michael, Happy new year and may many hours of good music come your way. I have noticed something recently when I skip to the midle of a track I notice a volume drop. is this expected because the song is as of then transcoded to pcm, and is this expected? or is it because the normalization factor is only aplied by the transcoder and ignored when playing ogg-vorbis? Did not test this thouroughly, but wanted to check it anyway. thank you, Dennis cortegedusage's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=69028 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=111217 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

At the end of the song, the last two or three seconds, the player keeps buffering the last chunk.. I, ll uploadlog later. So the song is actually over but the software thinks otherwise. Hi Michael, I don't think it has to do with the airplay plugin, as I got the same error with a picoreplayer. How long the track plays seems to be related to the length of the track itself. you say your track played for 10 minutes and it is about an hour long I got 20 something minutes with a track of 2.30 hours long. this might be a lead to understand what is going on. But unfortunately I don't have the skills to debug this code (or any code for that matter)... grtz Dennis cortegedusage's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=69028 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=88286 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
