This will force Spotty to use the spotty-hf rather than spotty-muslhf binary. Don't ask me why the latter would work if run as root, but not otherwise... After the restart check Settings/Advanced/Spotty to make sure it's using spotty-custom, rather than spotty-muslhf. That seems to work for me

Yes, I had reverted to a working version. I am now on Spotty Helper Application /var/lib/squeezeboxserver/cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins/SpottyV2Bin/Bin/spotty-custom (v0.9.3) I am seeing the same errors as previously reported.

The connect functionality works rather well. It is just that whenever I reboot the computer, or even stop and start LMS, the " Don't announce" option is ticked again, and my Squeezebox does not show up in Spotify. Apparently the option is not stored in the plug-in settings. Is this by design?
