anywhere. Have asked the same question on max2play forum but have had no
reply. I'm a licenced max2play user using odroid-xu4 and the xu4 image.

I'm more annoyed about my readyNAS not booting up and now it's stuck on
disc sync ... also the backup disc I was using from the nas is
unreadable when I plug it into the laptop.
What is the point of having all this storage and backups if they appear
What about the old switch it off and on again?
Switch everything off (correct shut-down procedure) except the
modem/router
Then reset the router. Let it stabilise for a min or two and then switch
each item on separately, NAS first, then everything else, one at a time.

Having a problem again with my pi server. Web up is not working and I'm
trying to connect via ssh BUT all the user names and passwords I'm using
are not working. I'm sure I didn't change the passwords.
Any ideas how I can get round this? I haves samba access but I think
this just to the root.
I've lost connection to my pi via ssh and browser. .the squeeze works
and so does samba..I think I've either lost or corrupted the password
for ssh because I've tried them all! !
Have mounted sd and tried a few amends to the cmidline.txt but no luck.
Anyone got any ideas? Copy a password? Can

The trouble I have is the fixing of the mount point on the 'Filesystem
mount' tab of Max2play. I'm using a USB drive and it gets recognised as

Issue with sound was a an issue that sound was dropped in kodi after
making change in basis settings
Solved by now.
@ad6922: there are some routers that do not translate names into IPs -
what model do you have? Do you have other network devices that can be
reached with network names? You may try to set "keep sound device alive"
in "Kodi settings -> System -> Audio output" and see if this fixes the
audio

Tried chrome and safari on 2 different macs. Same result. Fixed ip
adress has fixed the issue.
Another issue that I have: when changing source from my receiver from
kodi to tv and later back to kodi my sound is gone.

I had thought that the issue of "too many songs" was resolved in 7.9, or
maybe 7.8.1. if you're not using 7.9, try that.

the DAC analog output is much lower. I use this same DAC on an RPI with

I think in raspberry settings in max2play ui you can increase the output
from 80% (default ) to setting you prefer

Just adjust the one it does show (you can do this with music playing, I
believe).
Also check the Settings page in the LMS web gui.
Go to Settings>Player>Audio and check the volume output, I'm guessing it
should be set to 100%

I run this on a pi2 connected to a nas share and i run 3 squeeze devices
(boom, receiver and pi/Hifiberrry ) all sync'd or playing individual
streams without any problems ...other than the usual tech issues that
come hand in hand with tech :-)

from squeeze network. .and sync not right either.

Yes think you're right. ..something was playing up and although this
kick started it again something else was/is to blame.
The only change i made though was updating max2play recently.
I've now removed any static ip info and rebooted.. .seems to have solved
resolving the host.
