I installed squeeze2cast on my Windows 8.1 PC which is now running W10.
I did this when squeeze2cast was just launched. I works straight away,
but I have not used it since till today as I moved my Chromecast to
another property.
I have now installed a Chromecast and a Chromecast Audio in the
The most visible changes I've made since first version is the
possibility to use chromecast audio groups as well as feedback the
volume when changed from another CC controller. The rest is pretty much
minor improvements and bugs corrections. On github or in the plugin
directory, you'll find a
OK, that's great. When I first installed there was a bit of messing
about and I had you enable access to your repository at sourceforge.
That is still showing in my plugin page - cant check the detail as
Windows (bless it) is upgrading itself while I type on this Chromebook!

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by that? Today, you have no
configuration in most of the cases.
Hi,
With reference to Pippin's post here:

I'm trying without luck to install the ickstream plugin on the
"Squeezebox Touch server"(TinySC installed ON the Touch") v.
try another outputdevice
btw: i hate pulseaudio for some good reasons and i dont need pulseaudio
to play sounds with more than one programm alsa with dmix plugin works
like a charm.

There is search in the YouTube plugin, either in the LMS GUI or in
application like iPeng. I'm also using a windows 10 dedicated app that
provide search as well. I think that every remote control app does
leverage the search that is provided by the plugin.. The search options

Thank you Philippe; and thank you for all your good and very competent
work.
Is the plan to make the bridge a one-click-to-install plugin, and how
far off is that?

Hello,
I have the squeeze2upnp running on a Vortex box, to a Cambridge Audio
752 BlueRay Player. All works fine except for Spotify. The Spotify
stream will play, but plays at a reduced speed, so everything is slooow.
Other streams such as internet radio work fine.
I have tried a number of
I've read different places that this can happen when Spotify's servers
are busy on Saturdays and high traffic times. Someone suggested logging
off LMS, and then back on in the hopes of randomly getting onto a
different Spotify server that's less busy. I don't know if any of that
is valid or not.
I'm trying without luck to install the ickstream plugin on the
"Squeezebox Touch server"(TinySC installed ON the Touch") v.
7.7.3(latest TinySC I can find).
Forget it. The Touch doesn't have enough memory to do this. Do yourself
a favor and get a Raspberry Pi to run LMS instead.

I've been struggling with this issue for a while now, but now I'm ready
to fix it. Spotify seems to work well across all of my Pis, but for some
reason I start having issues every Saturday night! Which happens to be
whenever I have all of my friends over! I recently upgraded my main Pi
to a Pi 3
