Hi!
I'm not a frequent Spotify user but recently I found that the volume is
a lot louder than other sources. I'm pretty sure it was an option for
volume normalization in the old plugin?
I have set Default Adjustment for Remote Streams to -5 but it does not
seem to affect Spotty.
This is
IT is sort fo a bug - the icon for programs are only supplied when the
time code of a stream can be verified - that currently is only DASH.
This came about by accident after adding in code to do skip back of live
stream and which then resulted in metadata timing having to be
verified.

Im not sure I follow you...
In the Plugin Folder:
Thanks, understood. As above, certainly not critical but a bonus if the
icons work across other stream types in a future release.

Interesting approach. But I have no clue how to wrap
Code:
ssh -C user@hostname sox -q -t alsa loop -t wav -b 16 -r 48k - | play -q -
into a LMS
to use the ssh and alsa loop approach - you'd need to change the wavin
convert.conf so that it executes "play" instead of its custom exe and
then feed audio into LMS but I can't tell you the details as I'd have to
spend time to set it up to prove it.
I once did something similar using netcat at
Thanks!
In the meantime, I've got the lossless phono streaming with Icecast and
Liquidsoap to work in a stable way on a Raspi Zero with Stretch lite and
a 10 Euro USB soundcard with stereo-in.
The integration into LMS ist smooth, simply via a m3u like
Code:
#CURTRACK 0

I am a frequent listener to Spotify by using my RPI-3 Max2play and LMS.
The soundquality with Hifiberry digi+ is astonishing. Unfortunately I
still have problems finding a stable solution for Spotify playback. I
tried different options:
- Spotty only has the drawback you can't make adaptions to
I am not sure whether the plugin is working as intended but I have
noticed that artists other than the album artist are using the image
from artist.* as well. It seems to me that any contributors other than
the album artist should not use artist.* this way it will allow an

I recently installed a fresh copy of LMS on a brand new Raspberry Pi 3B
with max2play. I installed ShairTunes too. It works beautifully.
Streaming to my squeezeboxes from the Spotify app on my iPhone and iPad
using ShairTunes is for more reliable than using the experimental
Spotify Connect
I finally went down the Raspberry Pi Route and gave up running LMS on my
Synology NAS. I'm using a Raspberry Pi 3B with max2play. Everything
works fine (although slower as on the NAS). Only the Spotty menus
sometimes are really annoyingly slow... When searching for an artist and
then browsing

If a copy these files to *-custom, how do I get the Spotty plugin to use
these files?
The plugin would first look for those *-custom files, assuming that they
had been put in place because they were known to work. Only if that
fails it'll try to figure things out automatically.
