Are you referring to the Spotify Connect (EXPERIMENTAL!) Checkbox? If so "Yes" it is enabled. Yes, that's the one. I'm not sure you would see a SB configured to use user A if you were running Spotify's application as user B. Could this be the issue for you? -- Michael

No change there. I am on the latest (or, last) version of Wheezy. I wonder if that is to blame, and I should update to Jessie/Stretch. It's Oh... yes, I think Wheezy isn't good enough. I remember having seen issues with older max2play installations which were still based on Wheezy. --

Which message appears? To be honest: I don’t fully understand Family Sharing myself, you’ll have to ask Apple for what‘s going wrong. iPeng is enabled for Family Sharing so it should work, but how the details of the account metrics work... ??? --- learn more about iPeng, the iPhone and iPad

This plugin is great. For some reason, though, I notice that audio I play with it is consistently quieter than audio from other sources. Is there any way to compensate for that so I'm not always reaching for the volume?

Today the above message is appearing when attempting to open Ipeng on my Iphone. I had previously downloaded it when using Family Sharing as my Iphone is a different user to Ipad. I don't believe I've altered anything in Family Sharing and the Ipad displays 'Steve is using this account to share

I have come to this thread a bit late but I have a similar requirement. For some time I have had a working Pi 3 that uses a USB sound card and Liquidsoap/Icecast2 to generate a FLAC stream for LMS. (Sorry I would have pointed you there earlier if I’d seen this) I use it to stream from Vinyl

Is that right? Isn't the plugin supporting multiple users for the purpose of authenticating which ever user challenges it and has user access? As you've seen you can add multiple accounts and access their content using the menus on your Squeezebox. What I wanted to say is that in Connect mode

I apologize for the delay in response. This is something where very simply an iPhone can not see the server we so ever. The native Spotify app on the iPhone in the device list does not see Spotty due to its user name. If I use the primary account holders loon the same IPhone can see the server.

I span up Windows LMS and a Windows SquuezePlay. They work fine together with Spotty, but when I point the Squeezeplay at my Pi, I have the same issue. I realized that I had never updated my Pi firmware, so trying that now. Currently on 4.1.19+.
