Are you referring to the Spotify Connect (EXPERIMENTAL!) Checkbox? If so
"Yes" it is enabled.
Yes, that's the one.
I'm not sure you would see a SB configured to use user A if you were
running Spotify's application as user B. Could this be the issue for you?

No change there. I am on the latest (or, last) version of Wheezy. I

Oh... yes, I think Wheezy isn't good enough. I remember having seen
issues with older max2play installations which were still based on Wheezy.

Thanks for the quick answer. Alas, it doesn't seem to be the solution
Which message appears?
To be honest: I dont fully understand Family Sharing myself, youll
have to ask Apple for whats going wrong.
iPeng is enabled for Family Sharing so it should work, but how the
details of the account metrics work... ???

learn more about iPeng, the iPhone and iPad
This plugin is great. For some reason, though, I notice that audio I
play with it is consistently quieter than audio from other sources.
Is there any way to compensate for that so I'm not always reaching for
the volume?
ipeng appeared in Updates and then following update 9.3.3 its back
working again!
Hopefully no more glitches.

BPA,
I am horrified. For reasons I can't explain, I didn't see your last two
messages which were direct responses to me. I am sorry, and extend my
sincere apology.I did not yet implement the fixes you provided but
will let you know as soon as I do, with (probably) more questions.
Thank you
Today the above message is appearing when attempting to open Ipeng on my
Iphone. I had previously downloaded it when using Family Sharing as my
Iphone is a different user to Ipad.
I don't believe I've altered anything in Family Sharing and the Ipad
displays 'Steve is using this account to share
Installed the Spotty plugin in LMS version 7.7.3-113 today. Delighted
to say that it showed up in my Touch and works very nicely. Just want
to say thanks for your work on this. Cheers.

If anybody -- like me -- had trouble finding the "other thread": it's
here: 'Youtube Squeezebox plugin'

The message that appears is
I have come to this thread a bit late but I have a similar requirement.
For some time I have had a working Pi 3 that uses a USB sound card and
Liquidsoap/Icecast2 to generate a FLAC stream for LMS.
(Sorry I would have pointed you there earlier if Id seen this)
I use it to stream from Vinyl

Does no-one know how to create a playlist in the Qobuz plugin ???
Playlist management isn't implemented in the Qobuz plugin.

Is that right? Isn't the plugin supporting multiple users for the
purpose of authenticating which ever user challenges it and has user
access?
As you've seen you can add multiple accounts and access their content
using the menus on your Squeezebox. What I wanted to say is that in
Connect mode

I apologize for the delay in response. This is something where very
simply an iPhone can not see the server we so ever. The native Spotify
app on the iPhone in the device list does not see Spotty due to its user
name. If I use the primary account holders loon the same IPhone can see
the server.

I span up Windows LMS and a Windows SquuezePlay. They work fine together
with Spotty, but when I point the Squeezeplay at my Pi, I have the same
issue. I realized that I had never updated my Pi firmware, so trying
that now. Currently on 4.1.19+.
Hello,
Subscribed to Qobuz, I use for broadcasting on my hi-fi system a
Squeezebox via plugins Qobuz (by Pierre Heck & Michael Herger) and
IckStream.
Unfortunately, *the streaming of a long track suddenly stops at about 20
minutes* (18 minutes for the Qobuz plugin, 20 minutes for the IckStream

This most likely is your computer running LMS going into power savings
mode. There's a plugin to not let it go to sleep while LMS is running.
You
No change there. I am on the latest (or, last) version of Wheezy. I
wonder if that is to blame, and I should update to Jessie/Stretch. It's
horribly slow navigating Spotty as well, although other operations
aren't too bad.
