The 7.9.2 version in combination with DSM6 runs far better

You could start a none working stream and see if the server log gives
you a hint. or post the outcome here.

Master Branch: After editing/updating a favorite, I have to refresh
material manually, or navigate out and back into Favorites for the
change to be shown correctly in the Favorite display.
Devel Branch: I don't understand the last commit, no surprise there:)
but I can now create a new favorite

Indeed.
It was just by way of explaining why I haven't yet posted any log data
for the iPlayer plugin issue (see previous posts).

Yeah, I was renaming a folder - which does cause a refresh. Renaming a
plain favourite did not, is fixed in the devel branch.

OK - I will try it again, I thought I had wound up with something that
could not be added to the queue successfully. Probably pilot error
again.

Testing using the devel branch, and now renaming a plain favorite works;
the refresh occurs after the update button is hit.

In what way does it not work? Works for me, as in the entry is placed in
the preset list - and I can
My server's OS is Ubuntu 18.04, and I have been unable to create my
first config.xml file.
I updated my firewall, using gufw, and I am running squeeze2upnp-x86-64
from the CLI, but a config.xml file is never created. I have tried
various things, such as using sudo, etc. I am sure you have all

Devel branch testing: I can make a plain favorite a preset and that
works great, but doing that to a folder results in something that cannot
be
Craig,
One thing I noticed, is that in Favorites the overflow menu for a folder
includes the option of adding it as a Preset. That is not desirable, as
it doesn't work.

The automatic refresh of an updated favorite does not work in devel
either - same behavior as master. I should have said that to begin with
- sorry.

That is what I see too, when deleting a favourite.
My debug that occurs after I hit the update

Well if it works in devel, I'll just leave as is. Will merge devel into
master in a

Yes - this log is a media scan. iPlayer plugin does nothing that needs
or triggers a scan.
THis could eb a scheduled scan or if system is setup to scan when a new
file is notified.
