Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] RSS feeds of the forum software
Well, I posted to two "new" threads yesterday, and received e-mail thread summaries overnight. Just as it should be. So, if there is a problem, it would seem to be with "existing" thread subscriptions. I shall keep an eye out. mrw's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=38299 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109509 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] RSS feeds of the forum software
Lately, I assess probability of e-mail message delivery at around 2%. Based on one message received out of many tens of messages expected... I don't think I missed many (if any), but sometimes they're arriving out of order, and/or delayed. -- Michael ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] RSS feeds of the forum software
Thanks for this address. I know all this lists and IIRC I was subscribed to them in the past, but IIRC I still missed some messages. I have subscribed again and will have a look if all messages in the RSS feeds also appear in the mailinglists. Make sure you do not subscribe to digests only. It's what I'm relying on every day. -- Michael ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

A quick check gave me the following forums / boards which are not synced to any mailinglist, at least no one I know or I am subscribed to: - 3rd party hardware - Audiophiles - Beginners - General Discussion - Logitech Mediaserver - Ripping / Encoding / Transcoding / Tagging - Squeezebox Radio and maybe also the other player related boards Did I miss a list where all posts to the boards above are going to? mherger wrote: > But your posting still hasn't shown up, has it?... No, my posting is not there, but I see this feed as a feed informing me of new -threads -in the forum (not every new post in any thread). And that is how I have seen it (and it has worked for me) in the many many years I have used it via some feed reader (bloglines, google reader, feedly). A bit strange thought, that the text content now seems to be updated in the "RSS item" with your reply when looking 'directly at the RSS feed' (https://forums.slimdevices.com/external.php?type=RSS2). But feedly.com only shows the first version of the "RSS item" it has found, not if the text-content in -same -"RSS item" is updated later. So for me the feed has always only been about informing about a new thread, not every new post in any thread (I subscribe for notifications via emails when there are new postings in the threads I have posted in myself - like this one). The link in the "RSS item" always leads me to the latest post in the thread though (thanks to "=newpost"): https://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?109509-RSS-feeds-of-the-forum-software=newpost */Stig* '*rockland*.dk' (http://www.rockland.dk) - '*last.fm*/user/rockland' (https://last.fm/user/rockland) - '*discogs*.com/user/StigNygaard' (https://discogs.com/user/StigNygaard) - '*plus.google*.com/+StigNygaard' (https://google.me/+StigNygaard) *Server:* LMS 7.9.2 ('LmsUpdate' (https://sourceforge.net/projects/lmsupdate/files/DSM6.x/)) - 0012.1536072399 @ Tue Sep 4 2018 on Synology DS716+II. *Clients:* 'RPi3 (Max2Play, 7\" touch, HiFiBerry Digi+ Pro)' (https://shop.max2play.com/en/raspberry-pi-2-bundle-7-display.html), SB Touch, OrangeSqueeze/SqueezePlayer. *Livingroom HiFi:* Marantz PM6005 and F3/Lyd Audiovector 2.
