Away for a week, come back and PM 5.5.3 on my iMactel running 10.4.9 has quit on me 4 or 5 times in a day -- highly unusual. The only change is that I installed Safari 3.0. I have compacted the database and search index, but it has quit since. It's a little difficult to believe that the new Safari

Safari 3.0 replaces the OS X html rendering core. The only incidents I've had is if I click and drag on a message to select what I want to be quoted in the reply. This unexpectedly quits PowerMail every time. I uninstalled Safari 3.0 because there were a lot of the sites I visit opening to blank

Hi, I'm sure by now that they're aware of the general issue of webkit crashing otherwise functional programs. I agree that in general Apple is not going to care if a third party app crashes. They don't have the source to debug the problem, and it's generally not their problem anyway. Not sure
