Dear all,
What strikes me about a number of responses to 'PowerMail into the
future' is that they recount 'PowerMail in the past'. I have used
PowerMail happily for many years. I hope to be able to continue doing so!
Recently, for business reasons I have started to use Mail for some of my
PowerMail may be what it takes to
ensure a commercially viable future.
I would love to hear your feedback.

You can also try to export parts of your database in Powermail format.
For the part that cannot be exported, try Powermail Salvage.
Before you restore your email, backup all your files and clean up your
drive: file system and possibly hardware errors.

Maybe I don't understand what you are missing, but I have filters set up

In a filter, when trying to paste in the editing field for an automatic
answer, nothing happens. The paste menu item is disabled. You first need
to type something in the field before pasting works.
I also feel it should be possible to set the account from which the
automatic message is sent.
I saw in the docs that indexing for Spotlight doubles the size of the
message database. Does that mean that my message database which has a
size now af around 1.7 GB can not be indexed for Spotlight because of the
2 GB file limit?
