Are you only running DOS on the laptop? or is it DOS inside of some type of Windows? (or Linux or Mac?) Perhaps another proxy program could pick up the output and direct it to a network printer? or a USB printer? On another note, I wonder if anyone makes a parallel port PCMCIA card? Kevin

I'm a bit confused here but I assume you mean the printer is on USB but since there are no LPT ports you don't have the option to redirect one? You can create an LPT port - go to control panel \ Printers and add a printer. Select local printer and in select printer port then use the add a port

You can run a dos batch file. I don't remember the specifics, but its something like LPT1: COM1 (substitute whatever port is assigned to the USB port to see if it will work. I believe the dos command instructions are under redirect or something like that.. Virgil Bierschwale
