Using P99SE/SP6 for over a year now I finally got to the point of
reorganising my libraries into two databases: one schematic and one pcb. A
tad late, but still...
Since each schematic part has sixteen part fields; I'd like to use at least
some of these fields for information such

Another way you can do this is after you have placed your original block of
components and they are named R?, etc. Find * Replace with {?=_?}. After
annotating, you'll have R_1, R_2, etc. Then copy and paste your block how
ever many times needed. Then select all components in a block and Find
Thank you. I've been using ~ because it is not used anywhere esle. I make a dummy
cell with names like U~00, R~00, R~01, C~00, etc. Then I copy it as many times as
needed, select the group to change and replace {~=1}, {~=2}, etc.
I do the same for the PCB cell and copy it, leaving the nets
