the initial cost for the software based version is $595USD for a
three user license (they don't have a single user license). The book version
is now a single CDROM and it is priced at $495. We had previously subscribed
to the printed book version and it had been approx. $400 I beli

yes I think it is worth it. I have used the SMT+ system for approx.

communication related parts (MAX724, MAX1480, MAX1490, MAX488 etc...) and
they have been very good with samples and lead times through Maxim direct
sales even for small volumes ( less than 50 pieces sometimes..)
Maybe they
