Does anybody know how to insert PPC (PCBPrint) image into Microsoft Word?
I would appreciate any ideas better, than printing -> scanning.

everybody fo you help, but I don't have Acrobat and it seems to me a
little too complex solution.

Hi,
is there any way to update all footprints in the PCB from library?
Currently I press "Update PCB" button after editing each component in library,
but it's too annoying.
Yuriy.

Could anybody recommend good place in US/Canada
for ordering small prototype quantity (up to 10 pieces) PCB assembly?
Personal experience especially welcome.

Thank you all for your responses.

Jon,
There could be problems with hand soldered components.
Ceramic capacitors, for example has a tendency to break and
become resistor with 10-100 Ohm resistance.
Probable, due to thermal tension from manual soldering.
I had such problems in the past.
Worst of all, it usually happens weeks o
Steve,
You can set up *.ppc to prit only selected components,
then use global select option to select particular type of components in the
PCB.
Print them.
Select next type of components.
Update ppc from PCB.
Print them.
...
It is worse, than what you asked for, but better than nothing.
Yuriy.

Advantages of Accel EDA:
Ability to swap pins and gates on PCB and backannotate this to SCH

How about swapping pins in PCB and backannote to SCH?
Seamless in Accel and no way in Protel. :(

Hi,
Is there any way to create several "layer sets" in Protel and switch between
those sets?
I.e.:
1st set is: Top, Top Overlay, Board Profile.
2nd set is:Bottom, Bottom Overlay, Board profile.

That's "feature", though annoying one.

m not very new in EDA CAD :-), but I have approximately the same
set of questions as Mira to the Protel development team.
So I just hold my breath and think about them, as of "features" I have to live
with
and try to find some kind of workarounds if possible
