If you find yourself receiving too many posts from EuroPython, it is quite
simple to filter and automatically archive/delete/mute emails containing
the word "EuroPython".
Perhaps the problem is not with EuroPython posting too many things, but
rather why aren't other members share more
James: We do have our own mailing lists as well. The point in posting
here is to address and engage with PSF members specifically, since
many of our attendees are PSF members.
We post announcements since we want to keep people up to date
with what's happening and not miss anything.

I'm sorry if our posts come across as spamming. That is certainly
not our attention.
Since we do believe in the PSF community, we also believe that such
announcements should be sent to this group and, personally, I'd love
to see lots more coming from all kinds of Python events, projects,
etc. A

The fact that they are so prominent is really a measure of the channel’s
uselessness. It appears to be little more than window-dresssing: this is
clearly not seen as a channel through which to address “the

threads posted to the psf-community list have been EuroPython announcements.
At this point I believe EuroPython announcements either outnumber, or are close
to outnumbering, posts about all other PyCons combined.
