Hi Georg, i just installed pspp-devel @0.9.0_14 on MacOS 10.11.3 and it works. Are you sure that you have an XServer running? If you install just pspp-devel without any variant information, then an XServer is expected. An alternative is the quartz variant which will be based on the gtk3 system
