Subject: Ivory II Grand Pianos American Concert D presets
For anyone
Hi,
As my very first song in Pro tools approaches the final stages with editing and
mixing and that kind of stuff there’s one thing i admit as an amateur i can’t
quite get my head around and that’s EQing and compressing, compressing in
particular. Does anyone know if there are good tutorials
Just a word about the preset files:
The folders include the Grand Pianos package containing the German D,
Bosendorfer Imperial and Yamaha C7. I added the American Concert D. If you were
to purchase one of the packages like, say, the Concert D, for example, I
suppose choosing one of the other
Hi Krister,
Yes Groove 3 has these and they offer a 33$% or better discount if you call in
tell them you're only able to hear the product.
These 2 tutorials are excellent! :)

Hmm, i have to check those tutorials out, only thing is that calling could be a
bit unpractical since i'm in Sweden, but maybe there's an email address one
could get and start from there?

Hi Krister,
I'm sure you've already considered this but Skype Out is a great way to call
the States for an extremely low cost.

Any book on mixing will tell you lots about
compression! Google, wikipedia, the documentation
for various compressor plug-ins. there is no
shortage of good information out there if you look for it.

Hmm yeah, maybe it's time to consider a subscription on Skype, that wouldn't
hurt. Wonder what the time difference is between Sweden and where Groove3 is
located? I'm 6 hours ahead of EST and 9 hours ahead of LA so that means that
Ios updates always reaches me at 7 o'clock.

Folks,
I've just spent a few minutes experimenting with Keyboard Maestro and I've been
able to successfully and, more importantly, consistently drag files to the
timeline. To those using KM, create a macro that moves the mouse to 0,0
relative to the center of the front window. In other words,
great, Slau. I'm going purchase km to do it.
Best, Juan.

Just a little tip for anyone wanting a little feedback when executing macros.
It's easy to add an action to a macro to speak text after a macro has
completed. For example, with the mouse nudge macros I posted the other day, you
can add an action to each macro and type whatever you wish to hear.
