Alright, all you bold trailblazers, Pro Tools 12.8.3 is out and it supports
High Sierra. Check your products area. Don't be surprised if it's slow or
perhaps being rolled out over the course of a day or two but it's out.

Was told a few months ago the 1600 might be accessible since it had knobs and
such. I was told the menu window is a one line display with about eight
options to select from. Thought at the time was it wouldn’t take much to get
used to. A touring pro told me about it. Though the touring pro
Unless you can play with one before hand or get one with a good return policy,
personally I wouldn’t go that route. The problem is those things as I remember
it has a lot of deeper menu options and those things aren’t self voicing. So
unless you can play with one to see what limitations you
Hi guys,
I am considering the BR1600-CD studio in a box to record tracks with;
especially since it's portable. Boss doesn't make it any more but they can
still be found.
If I go this route then I would not need an audio interface. But. Would a
surface controller be needed? One like the
Hello Slau,
That is great! Thank you for taking the time to reach out to him to make this
happen. I am crossing my fingers as I am sure others are. Though UA Apollo is
not the end all, be all, it could be one more viable tool in our box to work
with.

BTW, I just heard back from Dan Cooper and we're going to set up a time to
FaceTime chat and try some stuff but, given the holidays and both of our
travels out of town, it'll have to be after the new year. Unless somebody has a
similar opportunity before then, I'll keep the list posted on what
Hello Bryan,
Thanks for your thoughts. I am going to hold off until I get this Softube piece
figured out, meaning, hearing back to see if Voice over can read the
parameters, then I will know how much I can get into the full features of the
Apollo.

Hi All,
I've been using FloTools since it was launched and besides all the
appreciation for its productivity value, I've always found it very
reliable. Since upgrading from 2.30 to 2.3.1, it completely stops
working after I shut down. So, I install 2.3.1, after which it works
perfectly
Thanks so much Christopher-Mark, things like that are so incredibly
easy, but only once you know how. Yet again this amazing list proves its
value. I seem to beat myself up for not knowing, or being able to work
out, how to do certain things, and then I ask and somebody comes back
with what
How does this compare with simply burns, and toast is there any advantage in
switching over to Burn.

i use sighted assistance to set any custom presets I want, but i can tweet them
from there quite easily, How ever, i’ve not used much else, so not sure how
everyone else works. Maybe other things work better, But i’ve found the waves
stuff works fine for me. I’d love to switch over too UAD but
in my work flow, i find that they are all nearly all accessible man. I use
waves for heaps of stuff and i seem to be able to get around them ok.

No no no. Go to the top of the screen in the app, and you'll see a toolbar.
Interact with that tool bar with VO+Shift+down arrow. then, VO+right arrow
through your toolbar, and you should see the option to change to an audio CD.

Hi All,
Slau recommended the app just called 'Burn' and it certainly looks very
accessible, but by default it burns data CD's and I just can't figure
out how to set it to burn an audio CD. I feel as though I should be
able to work this out, but the documentation doesn't make it clear and
